I have used this now for a week and am thoroughly pleased. I had only a little difficulty pairing it to my Honda Passport 2024. Since then, it has worked flawlessly. I do not notice any video or audio lag or stuttering. It starts when I push the Start button and is completely up within 20 seconds or so (delayed by two brief screens from the Honda's infotainment system, both which clear easily).All told, I am completely satisfied! I can't promise how well it will work in every known make of auto, but it sure works fine in my Honda.Update: after a full month of use, I remain totally 100% satisfied. I do not notice any lag or sluggish responsiveness. It boots up and connect to my phone without a hitch.This may be my best purchase from Amazon for the year!I began to have trouble keeping the adapter connected to my CarPlay. I would often have to re-pair it and take several tries to re-pair. So thinking I was going to return it, I checked their support page. it had all kinds of suggestions. Today, I reboot my phone, and all the issues went away!If you ever begin to have trouble, check their support page. Maybe even before that, reboot your phone and see if things resolve.An excellent device. My best Amazon purchase of the year!!

The media could not be loaded. Works fantastic. Good connectivity. Took it for a 22 mile ride and shut down 15 times until Cardo Packtalk Edge said it disconnected from motorcycle. Each time it connected quickly.The reason for this purchase was not for being lazy to connect USB cable, but for the fact that connectivity was poor with USB C cable and would randomly disconnect. With a cable I also had to open settings on my iPhone and turn off Bluetooth and let the Packtalk connect to motorcycle fist; then turn on Bluetooth. With AutoSky Wireless CP Adapter Model WUA-7; I turn on my Packtalk Edge and walk up to the motorcycle and turn it on and bing, bang, boom I am up and running, listening to music. There are other videos out there with people showing how they used CarPlay to get their bikes playing music, but I wanted to try something with good reviews and middle of the road price ($60 March 2024) and after reading the reviews I decided to give this a go. Glad I did. See attached video of how quickly CarPlay boots up on my motorcycle.

This product does not work well at all! It has paired successfully one out of 10 times. My phone says it’s connected, but my car says connect with the phone. Not only that, but when it’s plugged in, I cannot talk to text or talk to type on my phone. This product is not reliable at all, and only worked successfully for me one time. The fact that it does not come with instructions, or a user manual is just insulting.

Nice method to use CarPlay in vehicles equipped with touchscreen sound. On occasion does lose connection but when in use provides full functionality

We have a 2019 Forester Subaru with the middle of the road entertainment system. When we started, plugging in the phone to use CarPlay wasn't important. Our understanding and use of CarPlay has improved over the years. First, I hate wires coming out of the system so I started looking for solutions. The AutoSky Adapter is perfect. I plugged it in and did a quick setup and now I only have to fumble with the CarPlay controls, not squinting at the map on my phone (mounted on the dashboard, not in my hand.). If your car has the ability to use CarPlay, but not wirelessly, there is no better solution than this.

This product does work good but it loses connection often and it’s hard to regain without constantly resetting the the unit, also if on WiFi it will not work I don’t understand why but an annoying feature when u need WiFi or are still logged in in your driveway at home and it won’t connect. I would choose a different brand and model…

First of all my car did not come with CarPlay. The software mod is available if you are feeling techy. After doing this mod it only works wired which I was ok with for 3 years but today the cable I had routed to a phone mount died. Ok I’ll replace the cable I thought. Good luck finding a 16 ft cable that works with CarPlay for the new iPhone. After trying a few cables I gave up and tried this. I was very happy to see it worked instantly. There is an audio lag of about 1.8 seconds. Doesn’t bother me but bothers the kids when they watch videos. However for me I’m happy, No more dumb cables!!!

It is a smaller design. the light is at the bottom, which at first I didn't like, but glad its not blasting me in the face when I'm driving at night. it is a clean look though. I don't think my phone connects or it connects to my car any faster than other previous models. MAKE SURE TO UPDATE IT AS SOON AS YOU GET IT. prior to use
