I had a great time making this bookend. The wood is sturdy and cuts are precise, the colors well aligned. It is a quality product. The assembly was easy and fun, took a few hours. End product is very nice and I love that is lights up with the motion detector. They give extra pieces.

Finished this in 2 afternoons. It looked daunting at first but easy enough to follow. The pieces weren’t all easy to get out but they were sturdy and had no problems. They even have backups for some pieces just in case! There was supposed to be some double sided tape but that was missing. It didn’t matter because it wasn’t called for, so that was strange. It was easier to do than I thought and super cute!

Well made, easy construction, took me a couple of days. Only needed to glue a couple of parts. Am a Sherlock Holmes fan to begin with.

My fingers hurt but this was so worth it. The project took my mind off everything and let me just relax as I followed the instructions to assemble. It is super sturdy material. No missing pieces, in fact there were duplicate pieces for all the delicate parts. I’m not sure a kid would find this fun, a kid might find it fun to watch you put together? But you really need some strength to pop the pieces in precisely. I did use a nail filer instead of the sandpaper that came with the kit. The glue wasn’t sticky and was actually very adhesive. I ended up keeping that for future projects. The detail and design is incredible! I am a little sad it didn’t come with a dust cover so it had to go in my bookcases with the glass doors, but it adds magic to my books. 💕

This is an absolutely beautiful Book Nook. It has so beautiful and intricate details. This was my first time building one of these, and the directions were easy to follow. I used my own nail filer and super glue instead of the sand paper and adhesives the kit provided. Some of the other reviews said that it was easy for the pieces to lock in place, and I agree that some pieces were — particularly the railings of the balconies. However, more often than not, I found I needed to exert some force to push pieces into place which made me scared of breaking it as the kit is made of wood. I had to sand down many of the door way arches, because the pieces wouldn’t fully lock in, which became a problem when placing the buildings atop one another. I took off one star because I would have liked more pieces to lock in better. Also, when making the final assembly of the outer frame, this also didn’t lock in as easily as I would have hoped which made it difficult when keeping the walls up. Lastly, it would have been nice to have included a dust sleeve as it is a really beautiful Book Nook, and that there are so many delicate pieces.

Love this so much!!! Tonecheer has really good quality wood and the designs are printed on the wood and not all stickers like other brands. The instructions are clear and made it easy to assemble. I love the light on it as well. It’s bright enough that it doesn’t make the book seem like a dungeon. Definitely buying more from them!!!

Beautiful and amazing puzzle

This was a fun build that didn’t take too much time. It was a lot easier than some of the others I’ve done in the past. I did use a small hammer and wax block that were not included that helped with assembling the pieces. Everything was clearly labeled and easy to understand. I also appreciate that they included backup pieces in case something was broken when removing it. My only complaint is that the instructions were a little confusing at times. I also wish that the light had the option of staying on without using the sensor.

Such an amazing booknook. I would highly recommend getting this one as the instructions were clear and the quality is fantastic. The only issue is there no glue supplied but apart from that I enjoyed assembling this book nook.
