What a lovely addition to our collection of dinner plates, pasta bowls, tea mugs, and so many cappuccinos ALL by SWEESE! I must say these slightly oval small salad /dessert plates are stunning! You must see them to believe them! What a pleasure they will be to add to the large deep rimmed dinner plates we already have by Sweese.

Absolutely love these plates. I am trying to order more but can not find them in the blue 11 inch dinner plate. If anyone wants to sell me their set I would appreciate it.

What a find! Stunning, and very high end looking. The pictures don't do this dinnerware justice. High quality but since it's porcelain and not stoneware you get all features of stoneware ( microwave, oven, dishwasher safe) but with less weight. The curved shape is modern while the glaze looks retro, it's a perfect combination. The color ranges from dark blue on the edges to dark greenish blue with just a touch of golden brown as the color moves to the inside of the plate. Not to mention the plates are OVAL! I have been looking for oval plates off an on forever, they are hard to find and usually solid colors if you do find them. I found these accidentally when looking for dipping bowls. When I received the bowls I flipped and ordered all the available pieces the next day and I didn't even need dinnerware because I'd just bought a set a few days prior. That is how much I love this item. I don't know why there a no mugs, or serving pieces though, which is the only down side. There are bowls in three sizes and plates in two sizes and that is it. The item is marked as new, so I hope other items are going to be offered in this pattern soon. The designer knocked it out of the park with this one, I would give 20 stars if I could!

It was time for a change at the dinner table and this new table set of dishes was just the thing. We bought the entire set. They are beautiful, just the right size, and dishwasher safe. Left overs can be left on the plate and then microwaved on the same plate for consumption the next day! What's not to love about these? Even the price is a good deal.

So far I’ve had 3 plates crack in the microwave. Set microwave for 40 seconds fist time then 45 second time and each time the plate splits. One plate actually made a loud sound when it cracked that made my dog and I jump.

These are beautiful plates. Very well made. I love how they come with a warranty for the life of the plate. As long as you register, they will replace item if chipped or broken at no cost!
