Dockable Case for Nintendo Switch [Updated], FYOUNG Nintendo Switch Hard Case and and Screen Protector Joy-Con Controller (clear blue)

The case fits securely in the dock with a little wiggle room and is well designed. The joycon cases have fairly thick plastic that actually makes it easier to grip the joycon for most sized hands. The included screen protector doesn’t have perfect adhesion but is more than serviceable and is also protective. A nice addition to an already cheap case and pretty forgiving to bad application. All in all, a good deal for one of the very few cases that’ll fit in the dock. I had an issue: Right Joycon case had a pretty bad fit and had an annoying creak when squeezed. I messaged the distributor about this issue and wasn’t just sent a new right joycon case, I was sent an entire new product very promptly. The new right joycon case isn’t a perfect fit but is nearly one, with a little application of heat and pressure I can probably have one. For a $15 product I had these expectations. Suggestions to the maker; It would be good if it included another stand and the Switch case was fully flush with the Joycon cases.

Just got this case a few mins ago and i just have to write a review on it right away. This case is a must have for nintendo switch owners!! My thoughts on it: - The case have perfect cut outs for the buttons. - It is packaged pretty well - it was very easy to install - The quality of this product is quite good - it is aesthetically pleasing - it fits on the dock very well! - it gives a good grip on the switch - it comes with thumb control protector and a non broken tempered glass, even though it doesnt say in the description. - it shipped descently fast for an international customer like me - very good product for its price!! Over all i am very happy and satisfied with this product and got my moneys worth. Will update more later regarding it's durability etc.

When I received my Switch as a birthday present I immediately realized I needed some kind of protective case for it. At first I was looking at more rugged cases but noticed none of them allowed for two things I required: the ability to remove the joycons easily and the ability to still fit in the dock. When I read the description for this case this had every point covered! Pros: - protects the switch from scratches and scuff marks - included a screen protector - transparent to see the actual console (for when I know I’ll need to pop it out and clean it) - allows joycons to detach easily - kickstand is still useable - allows for switch to still use the dock!! - slim design makes me think it might still fit in most travel cases - reasonably price - included microfiber cloth is useful after instillation too! - the back corners have a bit of a rise for a better grip on the switch Cons: - very thin, hard plastic makes me think it won’t hold up if dropped. I expect it might sacrifice itself while keeping the Switch safe. - already has small scratches or marks around button holes. (Can probably be seen in the close up pictures). Worried these might be stress fractures already starting but running my nail over them doesn’t feel like anything is there. Will be keeping an eye on these spots. - faceplates for joycons come detached, easy to snap in but had to pay attention to pressing it in tightly. I put the faceplate on the joycons then slid the joycons into the back cover. Directions were not clear on this but it worked easy. - dust seems to like sticking to the exterior right after putting it together. I’m hoping it will be less “attractive” to dust/lint after usage (I just got it today). Included cloth helps with this. - screen protector has NO instructions! Only my previous experience with smartphones really let me put it on with no issues. One note: if you have bubbles then work them to the edge of the screen, lightly pry up the protector just enough to “pop” the bubble and let go, protector should smoothly close up and all trace of bubble is gone. Overall I’m loving this case and it’s just exactly what I was looking for. Not super bulky and extremely flexible with usability. Just enough coverage to prevent light wear and tear. This case isn’t for everyone for certain. Some people will want the big, rugged cases that can take abuse and keep going. Some people will want bigger more textured grips. This case isn’t meant for them. If you are looking for something light that will protect your switch but not get in the way of it’s flexability as a console then this is the case for you!

I really like the concept and MOST of the execution of this product. The cover for the back of the Switch’s tablet portion feels super sturdy and protective (and also adds a great surface for stickers!) However, the pieces for the joycons add plenty of comfort and grip but feel solid and loose to me. I like that the front covers for the joy-cons don’t necessarily have to be on for the back piece to stay on since I prefer to have the easier access to the buttons and joysticks. The back piece on my right joy con cover especially doesn’t fit quite right and I find that any time I move the console around in my hands it wobbles and slides around in that piece like it’s too loose. The left one does this a tiny bit as well but it feels much more solid. I’m not sure if I got one where a piece broke off or something but it’s a bit distracting and worrisome to have a piece wobbling around. The back pieces of the joycon covers also make it a bit difficult to access to button to release/unlock the joycons from the tablet part of the console. You’re gonna have to be a bit more deliberate to unlock them but this can also be a good thing because it prevents more accidental occasions of unlocking joycons during use. Granted: this cover is less than $20 and much better than any official products I’ve used so far with my switch. You also get a glass screen protector which I consider a MUST HAVE with any device like this and it makes this product an entire package for console protection. And it works with the dock just fine. Have had no issues whatsoever. TL:DR- Adds comfort, looks nice, feels pretty solid, but it’s plastic.

1. Nice looking case. 2. Easy to easy apply. 3. The material is thinner than I was expecting but impact protection is not what I got this case for so it's okay. 4. The case makes docking a little tight but not a problem. In fact, I like how snug it is, more secure. 5. Comes with screen protector! Nice bonus. Will help protect from wear and tear scratches from the dock.

It fits perfectly, and it fits in the dock even with the case. I've been trying to find a hard case but most reviewed cases doesn't fit in the dock.

It’s dockable for me, I know some other reviews said it didn’t work for them though. It also comes with joystick covers which I didn’t know so that was a great surprise! Easy to instal, very pretty, seems like it’ll protect my switch well. I honestly got it because of dirt and hand sweat not for scratch protection lol but that is a plus.

I originally purchased this so that my hands wouldnt sweat on my switch while i played for longer sessions, although its easier to hold with it and its a smooth plastic that doesnt collect pet hair!(I was worried about this as i have a cat and it said silicone). Ive dropped it once (forgot it was on the couch and moved the blanket it was on) It Definitely does its job! Getting the Joycon cases off with out the instructions can be a bit tricky so id keep the instructions if you might ever do this and dont want to feel like your breaking it haha. Overall a good investment
