This is the only brace that perfectly fits to stabilize my CMC joint (where the thumb joins the lower wrist) while I'm debating surgery. It allows me full range of motion of my wrist & fingers, which is very important for writing & cooking. Pain is virtually gone while I'm wearing this. It's holding up well under regular usage, so far. I can see how the velcro will begin to weaken because it's thin & not heavy duty velcro. I have more velcro in the house, so I can make this work long-term as necessary. I wish it were more rugged to endure regular use as it's a bit pricey to be so fragile. Nevertheless, I'm getting another one today so that I can have one to wear all of the time, day & night. Why? Because I have to wash it every night because it smells like stinky socks by the end of the day! Other than that, I highly recommend this thumb brace.

Updated review after having discussions with customer service they replaced the splint. Honestly everyone said the PUSH metagrip was better. It's not as comfortable as this one. I do switch between the 2 because the push is easier to keep clean but this one is so much more comfortable than the push metagrip. Both do cause blisters and the liners do not help actually for me they make it worse. I have used KT tape under them and that does help but the best liners I have found are 3PP liners not sold on Amazon. I'm back to wearing this all day again and I can wear this one all day the PUSH one maybe 3 hours maximum. For the price difference and comfort I'd probably continue to purchase this one. Yes it did help with my pain levels, yes it was comfortable after initial set up, still got blisters but range if motion was so much better. For $50 I thought it was the greatest thing on earth! The velcro straps started to curl up and scratch me. Then a month and 10 days later the metal support started coming through. So now I can't wear it. I contacted support about the velcro and they were great about the velcro strap but not about the full brace falling apart. I asked if they got my pictures they said yes and that was it. Nothing else. I was singing their wonderful products. Well I ended up purchasing the original one for $120 not their copycat splint. It still gives me some blisters but with moleskin and a different sleeve I found online (theirs did nothing except more blisters) I'm a happy with the more expensive and better one. So before getting what I needed for $120 I spent way over $120 and 3 out of 5 of those braces were from velpeau. So just get the real one and not this copycat because it will last you years! This lasts a little over a month!

Wow I opened a bottle with much reduced pain. I am trying it with the mouse now. My wrist is 6 inches. My palm is 7 3/4 inches. Fit is good with size Small. I have slight pain until I stress my thumb joint weeding or twisting. Then it aches all the time. I am a pianist and I can actually play wearing this brace. I do not have carpal tunnel. I just need support for CMC. I went on copilot and asked for exercises. I can do them with minimal discomfort wearing the brace. I will report again after using for a while. I could never get this put together right. No matter what I did one side of the Velcro was always on the wrong side. Either I could not latch the back of my hand or not the thumb. The instructions were not helpful and did not work for me. I tried every angle I could imagine. Always the same problem. Their "support" team was not helpful. They seemed unable to understand what I told them. I sent pictures of the problem too. They even responded to one of my emails by say something like, "use this picture as an example." It was a picture I had sent TO them of my own problem! Oh, and the package had been opened before I got it. Thought a lot about potential change outs made before and not getting the right pieces for my right hand.

The brace itself works as it should. However, the velcro only lasts a couple of wears. It needs a watch band style. I use a binder clip to keep it from popping apart.

Product came on time and had as many parts as described, so delivery is A. Very comfortable to wear, made my thumb feel better almost immediately.

I bought your product for my father in Amazon.in at Rs.6,159, I haven't received the Elastic Thumb Support in the package. The trap has become loose.
