Works great looks good, makes sure to clean hull with acetone, i used a rubber mallet to help get curvers of hull into guard before installing, roller on winch was starting to wear on my hull alittle.

Seems to be sturdy but haven't installed. Looks and feels like it will do the job and glad that it comes in a pack of 2 cause I'm planning on painting the boat this winter. Would buy again

The product quality is very good but this won’t fit all boats so hopefully my explanation here will help. The steel is very hard and a bit challenging to bend but that’s because it’s of such high grade. If the angle of your bow is uniform over the length of the guard you should be good to go. The angle of my bow changes over the length of the guard and the steel will not allow this kind of compound angle. I could force it into shape but the adhesive wasn’t strong enough to hold it in place. I went so far as to build a mold replicating the changing bow angle to allow me to hammer it to shape with a heavy mallet but the steel just wouldn’t go there. In the end I made a smaller guard from the steel and screwed it in place (wooden boat). So first check your bow to see if the angle is consistent. Also, and this may have contributed to my challenge, my boat is wood with topside enamel paint. It may be that the adhesive is better suited for the gel coat on fiberglass boats but I can’t confirm that. I hope this review is helpful.

I hope the adhesive will hold it longer but should in case, I have the second set for backup.

I made it fit. They were a little awkward to get it to fit properly. Overall, that’s what I needed, but it just took a little bit more finesse to get it there.

I would not buy this product again. I cleaned the surface very well making sure all grease and wax was removed. Applied the guard very carefully using rubber mallet and a piece of wood to form the metal to the boat. Applied to the boat. Once any preasure is applied that glue pulls apart and the gaurd is loose enough to fall off. Even used heat gun to reattach. Crappie product

Fitted perfectly and remains properly affixed

Excellent value. These are as thick as the high priced ones. I always try to buy from local dealers to support them but this was too good value to pass up. As you can see for the pictures, make sure to overbend it a bit when you install like someone else out here in reviews so when you press the tape to the hall, it sucks the whole plate onto the hull evenly. Crazy good value as it comes with two of them so if one fails after a few years, you have a back up.

Great value and works well on my boat. It requires some minor adjustments to fit perfectly, but it performs excellently!
