This gilet is very thin so should fit under jackets when it’s cold. I love that it packs into a tiny bag so it’s super easy to throw into my day bag. I haven’t tried it out in chiller weather as we’ve not had any. But no reason why this won’t keep me warm.

Sadly the item was very small, but marked Extra Large as we had ordered. Such a shame as the item seemed very good apart from this.

I wanted a lightweight gillet to match some cream winter boots, the colour and shape is perfect and good value for money.

Definitely lightweight and able to be squashed into the matching little pull string bag that came with it. Useful indoor item but not washable and shows the least mark on the very shiny fabric ie. water marks. I think that I must be mucky!!! However, I ordered two, the second a larger one to compensate for fit across the bust and I have used them under a lighter jacket in this milder autumn but on the chillier mornings. It is a neat fit and about the least bulky item you can imagine. Much as the photo shows. Arrived very promptly. Have to add that June 2017 has been really cold and our boiler went. Put this on over a lightweight long sleeved top, under a cardigan and was almost immediately gloriously warm. Been a good item to carry in the camper.

Lovely fabric and colour - extremely lightweight. However I ordered XL (normally large) and it was really shapeless with huge armholes. Shame because I loved the concept. I chose white which was a lovely ivory white with a slight sheen; felt gorgeous. Returns was fast and efficient.

The quality of this is nice, it's soft and lightweight and feels luxurious, zipper is of decent quality and the fit is good too. However, it's really small! I'd say the XXXL is about a UK size 16, so if you're size 18 or above this wouldn't fit. Disappointing as I do really like it, it's just way too small.

The listing gives measurements - and it's worth looking carefully at these before ordering. Although I'm a UK size 10, I ordered the XL size for the shoulder width (my shoulders are the widest part of me). I'm very happy with this garment as it's warm but not bulky and will fit under jacket and coats. I'm happy with the colour (taupe) and wish there were other colours available e.g. sage green, or a pale dusty blue (the mostly bright colours available are really not my thing). I'd definitely buy another of these if more subtle colours were available.
