I never thought it would work as well as it does. Wraps the grass long weed things all around the tines. Lift up to knock soil back into garden. Remove the weeds with hands. Push back in the soil twist in circles repeat. Love it

I bought this because a friend of mine has a hand tiller which is similar and her hand tiller is fabulous and works great. I wish I had one exactly like hers.This one is OK. It was not expensive so guess it’s worth the money but it will only go down about 4 to 6 inches and that’s through soil that’s already pretty good.I don’t know why this one is so different from my friend’s hand tiller. I think maybe the tines are angled in too far.It also takes quite a bit of effort to twist it.The advantage is that you’re standing up so that is good. It’s less tiring than getting down onto the ground.I’m surprised that everyone gave it such high marks. Maybe I would’ve as well if I had never used my friend’s hand tiller.

This tool powered through the raised bed that had been neglected for some time. Took out some heavy roots as well. Easy to mix the compost in too. Was ready to use and finished the whole bed in 40 minutes. So glad I bought this and will use to aerate my compost bins as well.

The spike protectors were either super glued on or placed while the paint was still wet.It’s been a nightmare trying to pry these off.Secondly, none of the fasteners/bolts fit properly just a wobbly poorly made heap of metal garbage.

Really easy to use! It gets rids of the weeds fast. Saves a lot of time.

I'm pretty disappointed with this purchase. It is sturdy enough and required no assembly, however, it is not easy to use. I bought it to prep my in ground garden bed. It was harder to use than a pitch fork. While the twisting motion was easy enough, the claw was less effective than a fork at aerating/tilling the ground. I would not buy again.

I liked it, it did what it should. And I am planting my flowers. Never used tools before. That made it easy.
