Works Well
Works well, fast startup, seems accurate. Just what i needed for a radio.

Great Upgrade
I saw one review about the claim of it outputting $GNRMC vs $GPRMC, that is not a typo and is the correct output and actually $GNRMC is more accurate due to it being more modern. I was hesitant about the product as it was cheaper than its predecessor, and I can say it over achieved and is great quality. Easily within a minute seeing and gaining signal with multiple satellites and having multiple with an SNRI over 30 most over 20 so highly accurate and functions better than I thought it would. I would post a screen shot but it would show my longitude and latitude. I highly recommend this product especially since its so light weight.

Works great even when installed under a helicopter's main rotor blades.
See attached pictures. The BN180 is installed under the propellers of the 250-gram drone. Even then, satellite reception is perfect without any glitches in the video. The weight of the GPS unit with wires is less than 6 grams, perfect for 250-gram FPV applications.

Great reception, quick lock
I've tried a bunch of affordable ublox m8n units and this is my favorite. I put it on my r/c wings with arduplane and get 15-20 satellites most of the time, sometimes more. I'd give it five stars if the antenna didn't detune so easily. If you use it for a fixed application this won't be a problem, but planes get bumped when you land and after a while this may detune the antenna a bit. Still, highly recommended.

Works Flawlessly
I like everything about this GPS receiver. For GPS receiver under $20 I give 5 stars. It has two working status LEDs, one for satellite FIX and NMEA sentence transmit cycles, the connector and the extra cables are the best I have seen so far. I bought a total of 21 for my business project and I plan on buying more.

Incorrect spelling of NMEA messages make parsing more challenging.
Run away. Run far and fast. This module does "kindof" works, but most of the messages are misspelled. Instead of the standard $GPRMC NMEA message, it reports $GNRMC . The satellite in-view messages are correct. If the receiving part of your target application is parsing for GPRMC, it will never find it. Someone misspelled the message name in their firmware for the DY-180. If you are able to adjust your target device to accept GNRMC, then the receiver does provide correct data within the message.

This is the one you need.
If you are building an FPV drone using betaflight, this is the GPS you want right here. The only negative is the SUPER CHEAP wiring harness with the melt-away insulation. Why can't they give us a silicone wire harness? To save .01?

I got a used item that doesn’t work.
Bought this in August but didn’t use it until now in October when I finally finished building my 7 inch quad so my return window is of course closed. Wish it wasn’t because they sent me a used item, wires were already cut and soldered before. Whatever, who cares, as long as it works BUT it doesn’t. It finds some satellites in Betaflight when just sitting still but never fully locks on. Had it outside sitting on a bench in open sky for over an hour and it never locked on. This is junk, buy the BN-880 if you’re gonna put it in a quad.

Didn't have to go outside tofor it to find and fix to 8 satellite . I did take it outside and it instantly found 13 satellite in around 3mins. So I highly recommend it

... des Moduls ist immer etwas langwierig - aber wenn er mal die Satelliten gefunden hat, geht es auch nach einem Neustart recht fix und die Navigation ist sehr genau. Verwendet wurden die Module auf einer DIY- Quadrocopter.

Very easy to hook up in betaflight very tiny locks on to satellites fairly quickly I would recommend
