Excellent quality
I commute daily to work via my Giant Defy Road bike. The brakes are extremely important and I won’t compromise on quality as it could be a life and death situation.I have tried and tested loads of brands but always prefer to get brake pads that match the original design that came with the bike. The fins are on these pads are a design feature that assists with cooling and ventilation which adds to the longevity and assists with braking. These pads are simply brilliant. Before installing them I always remove the wheel, clean in between where the pads sit with mineral oil and pump the brakes to make sure the hydraulic system is even. Sometimes one piston works better than the other which will mean one brake pad wears quicker than the other. For even wear clean and keep cleaning around the piston’s when pumping the brakes and this loosens the dirt and eventually they pump evenly. Also before adding the pads I always put paste on them. There are loads of disc brake silencer pastes available on Amazon and they all work at preventing screeching when brakes pads and discs become contaminated. This happens regularly especially when commuting in London when the roads and cycle lanes are wet.Trust me it’s so annoying to listen to buy the paste and apply before installing the new pads. These pads have worked as well as expensive brands and they are half the price so highly recommended.

Ensure your calipers can take a finned pad - Tektro/TRP can't
My new eBike has Tektro/TRP brakes that take this style of Shimano pad. However, the fins on these pads are fouling the caliper body and preventing the pad retaining bolt or split pin being inserted. Frustrating as otherwise these fit correctly, and I have the same brand very happily on my mountain bike.Arguably my fault for assuming that compatible calipers would also take finned pads - it comes down to the shape of any recess on your caliper. There are several Shimano fitment guides available online but part numbers seem to change constantly so it's difficult to know for sure.

ok quality Budget Pads, Has new spring And Pin, tiny bit pricey, really Semi-metallic, hence 3.5*.
Budget pads, but while the compound seems ok, IMO it does not look like the claimed Metallic (sintered) pads - they dont have as much metal flake in them as I would expect. I would say they are more Semi-Metallic (though that could be better actually for a normal rider not doing high speed down hil). So they are fine for general to heavy everyday use.Thickness is ok, perhaps a tiny bit less than OEM pads, but life should be ok in normal use. If you are a hard rider or heavy on the brakes then you might want something from a higher quality brand, but overall these seem to be well enough made. They come with new securing pin and springs which is really good. The packaing is card and plastic, which can be recycled so thats good to see.For the 2 pairs from an unknown budget brand though the price of around £20 (May 24) is a bit too high, especially when you can get high quality aftermarket pads from some online bike compenent retailers in the UK for similar prices. IMO £15-16 ish would be better value for these

Incorrect size for the application advertised
I had these free from Amazon in order to do an evaluation. These pads are advertised as follows:Disc Brake Pads with Cooling Fin, 2Pair Bicycle Brake Pads for Shimano DEORE XT M8100 / SLX M7100 / DURA-ACE/ULTEGRA/TIAGRA/GRXHowever they are 6 mm narrower than the size required to fit the XT- M8100 which my bike take, so I was unable to fit them, as can be seen from the photo, the one on the right whicjh does fit, is wider with a much bigger friction pad area. They do look to be well made pads, just wish they'd fit!

Work well; Slightly different than original Shimano
These fit Dura-Ace calipers and appear to bed in and stop well. The only obvious difference from the OE Shimano pads is the missing bevel at the edge of the pads (see photos). This makes it a little trickier to reassemble a wheel, but just requires extra attention to alignment of the disc between the pads.

These are not Shimano. Don't fit M7100.
These are not Shimano. Don't fit SLZ M7100 brakes as claimed.

Nearly identical to OEM
My bike's current brake pads are getting close to end of life, and after the pandemic's bike supply chain snafus, I don't ever want to be caught without some key spare components, so I thought I would pick up these as an extra set.Comparing these side by side with Shimano's L05A resin brake pads, these Icreopro pads appear to be nearly identical. The size, shape, etc. are all identical; the only two areas where they differ is the pad material seems to be different, and the Icreopro pads are not beveled on the edge of the pad that faces towards the rotor (see the attached photo showing the bevel on the Shimano OEM pad). I fully expected the pad material to be different since the Icreopro pads are billed as being "ceramic" and the Shimano L05A pads are standard resin pads. As for the missing bevel on the Icreopro pads, I'm not sure that really matters much in terms of performance. It really is there just to make it easier to get the rotor in beween the pads when you're replacing the wheel after removing it, so as long as you take your time, you shouldn't have a real problem.Bike season hasn't really begun here where I live (but it's temptingly close!) so I haven't ridden with these pads yet, but I will report back once I have some solid miles on these. And obviously I can't vouch for the lifespan of these pads. But I do like that this comes as a full set with two pairs of pads, two spring clips and two cotter pins. In my case, the cotter pins aren't necessary because my calipers have a bolt that threads in and keeps the pads in place, but it's nice that they include this in the kit. At roughly the same cost as a single pair of Shimano pads, you get two pairs, so this is a great value if they perform up to par.As with all bike disc brake components, make sure not to contaminate your pads or your rotors with any oils, grease or other chemicals since they can reduce your braking capability and component longevity. Don't touch your rotors or pads with bare hands--I always make sure to wear clean gloves while doing brake work just to be safe.

Perfect replacement for Shimano L05A
Replaced my worn out Ultegra brake pads (8070 calipers) with these. After an initial bed in period, these pads work exactly like the L05A pads but at half the cost. There is no squealing, the pad surface is perfectly flat and compound seems tightly bound. However its been only 100 or so miles and long term performance needs to be seen. If these last as long as Shimano ones we have a winner. I have noticed many cheap, off brand pads don't worn out but their compound starts to fall off in just about 300-400 miles of road use. Let's hope these don't do that. Compared to no name brake pads these are still expensive and seem well made.

Perfect Fit
Got these as a replacement set. They were a perfect fit for my Shimano GRX disc brakes. Performed as expected. I would recommend to anyone in the market for new brake pads.
