ECCPP 2pcs Front Hood Lift Supports Struts Rods Shocks for Toyota Supra 1986-1990,for Toyota Celica 1982-1984

These fit my son's '89 Supra perfectly.They have remained strong since our purchase, so we no longer have to use a 1x1 to hold the hood up!

I’m not sure what the other buyers are saying by it not fitting their Supras but it makes me to think they don’t know how to work on their own cars. This product was a perfect fit for my jz supra 1987 and does the job exactly as so. Only time will tell how long they’ll last but till then it’s perfect for me. I’ll come back to change my rating and comment if I come across any troubles with these struts.

Bought these for my 89 supra since my old ones were starting to fail and is there a difference these are so strong you actually got to put a little effort to close the hood very nice 👍🏼now I got the piece of mind knowing I ain’t got to worry about the hood falling on my head now I just hope they last as good as they work anyhow I highly recommend these shocks , struts or hood lifts or whatever you prefer to call them

More Hardware would be needed to make these work. You can't reuse the old ball ends on your stock hood shocks. Even if you could, the angle needed for the shock attached to the ball on the hood to pivot is really sharp. The ball is pretty good for allowing side to side movement but not up and down.

The media could not be loaded. The shock works fine if you had a different shock installed before. If you had oem supports this will not work and you will need to purchase ball socket studs separately. It comes with no hardware in the box!!!. Check this before you buy. If your old support is not oem these will work. So I can’t give it five stars.

Bought these for my 88 Toyota Supra, they are holding up the hood with almost too much force, it's hard to bring the hood down. But that is better then weak ones. I did had to buy new studs for these because the old worn out struts was one piece with the studs.

If you have an MKIII Supra you are trying to replace, the bottom end of the existing strut is a bolt on. This one is made to fit on a stud...both ends are intended to attach to a stud.
