The classic Portsmouth shoe gets a leather update while retaining the same fit and comfort you expect from KEEN. The Portsmouth ii features an oiled nubuck leather upper and a soft leather lining. This shoe is great for roaming the city streets.

Great shoe, but the size has changed.
This would have been my third pair of these exact shoes, but I had to return it because it was way too small. I have foot problems that require my wearing shoes with great arch support and a large toe box. This shoe has always been perfect for me. I usually purchase locally, but I thought that since I knew what I needed, I would buy on Amazon. The shoes arrived quickly, but they did not fit like the last two pairs. Way too narrow and too short. I compared this shoe to my previous shoe (exact same model and size) and they were visibly narrower in the upper leather. The sole seemed the same size, but I could hardly get the thing on my foot! I noticed that the new shoe was manufactured in India, whereas the previous shoe was manufactured in Vietnam. I suspect that is where the problem is. New manufacturer, new manufacturing process. Maybe they were trying to skimp on materials. Who knows?Otherwise... this is a great shoe. It really met my needs for orthopedic shoes. And I always liked the looks of them. Unfortunately, I have learned my lesson about trying to buy shoes on-line. I guess I will stick to brick and mortar for shoes.

Most comfortable shoes I've ever worn.
I had never heard of Keen, but now they have a customer for life. I'm currently recovering from Plantar fasciitis, so i've been looking for shoes and shoe soles/gels comfortable enough to be able to be on my feet all day (for work) with out having to limp around. I've spent a lot of money on shoes and shoe inserts and these are most definitely what i've been searching for. These shoes are so comfortable on their own i don't need to add any inserts and i can be on my feet all day with significantly less pain. I would start limping a bit about halfway into the day before, now i can be on my feet 8-12 hours and still have no limp and the pain in lowered to just a slight annoyance.

Awesome Everyday Shoe!!
I’ve always loved Keen shoes. I originally found Keen shoes years ago at REI, and they have been my goto hiking gear ever since. I completed a thru-hike of the PCT in a pair of Keen ankle boots and had no problems with them, unlike some other gear I had. When I saw that Keen was making everyday looking shoes, I was overjoyed. The shoes felt great from the very first day. They support my semi-high arches really well without having to use an insert. The shoes are extremely well made and look fantastic with most outfits. Best of all, you can wear these all day and not feel like you need to soak your feet!I recommend Keen shoes to everyone!

Nice Comfy Shoes
I wear a 7 or 7 1/2 depending on the shoe manufacturer.- both a very difficult size to find. Many reviews noted the Portsmouth II run a bit big. I ordered the 7s and they fit perfect. I wear them with thinner dress socks in my office and have worn them thicker athletic socks and have not had a problem with heel slippage or other discomfort. I wore them around the house for several hours the day I received them. They broke in quickly (around 2 hours). The Keens are comfortable all day long. I like their breathability and the fact my feet do not sweat in them. The arch support is pretty good. . They seem to be well crafted and will most likely last me several years or longer. These were the first shoes I ever ordered on line, I would order them again

Great shoes
The only reason I did not give these a five star rating is because the shoelaces break within a month or two. My boyfriend is a flooring installer and wears these every work day. This is his 3rd pair of Keens. He loves them. Has wide feet and a previous broken foot that never healed right and these shoes give him the support he needs. The covered toe keeps them from wearing too fast because he's always sitting on his feet installing. I'd send an extra pair of laces or give the customer the option to buy them separately. I can't find them anywhere.

Perfect Shoe for Older Feet
This is my go-to shoe for many reasons: 1. As my feet have widened over my 66 years, this box toe is so comfortable. 2. Keens in general, but this model in particular, have great arch support. 3. Only two eyelets in each side makes it so much easier to widen or tighten the width than most shoes which have many more eyelets. 4. It's very durable. 5. It's waterproof. 6. It's good in all temperatures. 7. it's beautifully crafted. This is the only footwear that I have bought more than once over the years. I hope they never discontinue this one!

Whoa! OMG. Are men more special than women?
I have wide feet. I feel like a princess but someone else looks back at me in the mirror. I walk 8-10 miles on a shift and nothing is more miserable than aching feet. This shoe is amazing. The big secret..... I ordered a mens' 8 wide and usually wear a ladies 9.5. These shoes give my toes plenty of room to wiggle with socks and make me feel like I'm walking barefoot but with support and love. Love my KEEN's!

Fit and Looks
Love it, I had so much compliments from staff and clients. I had to change the insole. Which is a standard for me. No matter how much the she cost the insoles are the cheapest part of the shoes. I spend up to $185 on a running shoe and the first thing i do change the insole. The shoe is well made. So far 6 month of use the the sole still in top shape as well the leather. I just bought another one. Great product.
