This tool makes it a simple and quick task to plant a tidy row in the garden with radishes, carrots, lettuce, or other small seeds. You can wrap painters tape around it if you need more shallow holes, to keep the tines from sinking into the dirt as far. This is especially easy for kids to use and it makes a satisfyingly even row. This would be a good tool for a school garden, community garden, or for someone who likes to use square foot gardening.

I was so excited for this because it seemed like a great way to dig holes for seed. It's awful. Couldn't even get the entire thing into the ground when the soil was wet. And when I pulled it up dirt just went right back in. I couldn't even see a hole. The extra little seed holder worked better for digging a hole. Do not waste your money.

We are just getting into the planting season here and so I have only used this tool for lettuce, spinach, and kale so far. The tools are easy to use, whether you are trying to get seeds in a straight line, spaced out or it is used to help children be involved in gardening. The seeder definitely helps get less seeds in one area. The hole maker allows holes to be made as deep as needed but you are stuck with the spacing of the tines. So far it is making the seed sowing job easier.

So far I've used this for planting our radish seeds and letting my 5 yr old help. These helped us put the holes in straight lines, and helped my kiddo get a seed in each hole.

Works fine in soft soil. Could not make effective use of it in hard dirt. Stepping on the tines of a garden rake may provide a comparable effect without bending down

This Seed-in Soil Digger Planter Garden Seed Spacer with Adjustable Seeds Dispenser is actually a very useful tool to have on hands. It is exactly as descried and pictured in the ad. It is all plastic, but good quality thick plastic so I expect it to last for a while. I will use it myself, but mainly I got it for my children to use and get more involved in gardening this year because it is very common for children to drop bunch of seeds in one hole accidentally and do the holes of all possible sizes and shapes. So hopefully this set of tools will help to resolve all of those issues without me doing extra work to correct them. As of now I will be recommending it and will come back to update this review if the tools break too soon or stop working.

This Adnee 12 Holes Seed-in Soil Digger is made out of heavy duty plastic. The design looks very good. The digger pokes holes for seeds at one inch intervals. Very nice for taking the guess work out of seed spacing. The prongs on the digger go from narrow to wider so it makes holes as sallow or deep as needed to accommodates different seed sizes. The digger comes with two seed dispensers. The dispenser adjusts for 5 different sizes of seeds. This helps keep seeds where you really want them to go. I can't wait for spring planting to start.
