Best in Class
I've had four of the bars from the variety/sampler box. And I'm ordering more ....I had a bout with a long-term illness not long ago that did a number on my stomach and what food I could tolerate. Much of what's available on the road/on the go makes me ill, at least, makes me feel run down. These are incredibly good to have on hand going out to keep hunger -- and the impulse to satisfy it with something sub-par -- at bay. (In my case, I've become extremely sensitive to MSG in particular.)I've cleaned up my act, but I've logged 40+ years of pizza and cheeseburgers -- and that's the tip of the iceberg. If you're coming from that, you'll want to know first if these taste good, if you'll want to eat them. The answer is "yes." So far, they've all been tasty. What else? The ingredients are non-GMO whole foods -- I mean, real, single-syllable ingredients. This is the real deal. One is enough to take the edge off of hunger, but I'm 6' 1" and 190 lbs and really need two if I'm relying upon these for a late breakfast or lunch.Final word -- I've been refrigerating them and not leaving them to roast in the the sun. I like the consistency/texture, but I'm not sure how well they'd hold up if subjected to high temperatures.Great product!

Tasty!
UPDATE - after trying all flavors. Just FYI, not all flavors are good. I absolutely did NOT like the "Cashew-fig-carrot" and "Pineapple-mango-papaya", I cannot even finish them and had to throw away. "Texas maple" was less repulsive (I did finish it) but still not tasty. "Hazelnut coffee" is neutral; while I LOVE coffee, I did not find the whole coffee beans in the energy bar enjoyable. I decided to leave the 5-star rating though, simply because it is my personal preference (someone else may think otherwise) and because I did get the variety pack. Quite honestly, I do not expect to like all flavors when I get variety packs. The remaining flavors were good. I wish I got the "Cherry" bar instead of the "Pineapple-papaya", as I love cherries. But oh well.My personal flavor rating from BEST to worst. If I were to reorder, I would only consider #s 1-4.1. Almond-apricot-vanilla2. Peach-pecan-cinnamon3. Pecan-goji-pistachios4. Hemp-sunflower-pumpkin seed5. Hazelnut-coffee-maca6. Texas maple7. Pineapple-mango-papaya8. Cashew-fig-carrotUnrated. Cherry. Wish it was included...These are really good! I can't stand the granola and oatmeal bars, but these have no oatmeal and are so tasty! They taste like fruit and nuts, not like your typical sugary cardboard oatmeal breakfast bars. The taste is very rich and satisfying. They are expensive, but I guess that's the cost of using the real food ingredients. I will be ordering more.

Actual, plant-based food in bar form
I've been trying a host of plant-based bars and supplements for travel and other allergy-unfriendly situations, and these are by far the most valuable. They're nutritious, filling, and provide genuine energy without a sugar crash. And while they're not the almost-candy typical of the industry, they're certainly tasty enough. I hope we see more products like this.

Interesting flavors
I liked trying the different flavors. Overall a a quality product that I'm glad I tried but I probably won't buy again as Larabars get the job done for a lesser cost.

They all taste similar
All of the bars taste and smell like figs with slight differences based on the variety. On the plus side, they were good for backpacking. The bars stick together enough that they don't fall apart when eating them with one hand. As far as calories and ingredients, these bars are exactly what I wanted. Overall they're good, but I wish they had stronger, more distinct flavors.

not organic
These are not organic, my mistake for not ready more carefully. I saw all the "good" and my brain assumed they were organic. I bought the variety pack as a lightning deal. Flavor was good on most that of the ones I could eat- the buckwheat in the cherry is a no go and I can't eat nightshades(gogi berry) so that one is out, date dominate ones are very sweet. There are a couple I would purchase again if they were organic. But I am extremely sensitive. Good bars if you're not dietarily challenged. Same texture and consistency as larabars, fruit goo with nut and seed bits.

Really disliked these bars
I ordered a "Paleo" mix of these bars and somehow ended up with the not-so-Paleo "Pineapple Mango Papaya" flavor, which I gave to my husband due to the sugar/carb content. He didn't like it much, but said he ate it because he was hungry. So far, I've tried the hazelnut-coffee-maca (hazelnuts and coffee are two of my favorite things), the hemp-sunflower-pumpkin seed and the Texas maple pecan bars. Honestly, I threw all three away after a few bites because they all tasted the same to me - like mushy dates. I tasted no other ingredient in any of them - even the strong flavors of coffee and maple - only mushy dates. The texture was also quite off-putting to me - like soft, crushed seeds. I'm not a fan of fruit jams because of the crushed seeds, and that's exactly the texture I got off all three flavors.I ended up giving the remaining flavors to my husband to take into his office (I work from home) and give away since I find them pretty gross. I'm quite disappointed, as I've adopted a primal lifestyle and was looking for something I could take with me while traveling or on-the-go - but I simply won't waste my time anymore on food I do not enjoy, I'd rather go hungry.

Expiration Date
I love everything about these bars. I’ll pack them in my daypack for hiking. But I received the assorted box and three of the bars are within a week of the expiration date. I realize that these bars are a little more time sensitive but I need them to have a shelf life for more than a week. I’ll eat them but need a bigger feeding window.
