Fairly straightforward for a gen 2 Prius, lots of time saved vs other options
Just put these into play recently, so I'll write up a little info while still fresh in my head. This kit makes the process dead simple for a Gen 2 (2005-2009) Toyota Prius. These replace the stock component speakers in the front. Tweeter fit into the housing simple enough. No bracket was necessary and it seemed like a fairly snug fit, however I did add a little adhesive strip foam to the front of it and that may have helped it fit so snugly. It's not the exact size of the oem tweeter, but close enough and no problems so far. Then taking the rest of the door off was not a huge deal (2 screws, snap out some fasteners + unhook window/lock cables and it all lifts right off). Drilling the rivets out of the stock speaker housings is a pain. You'll need a 1/8" drill bit. I snapped mine during the process, so maybe think about having a spare as well. Always wear safety glasses for that for sure. Then, these speakers drop right in and the wiring adapter is a nice touch. Then you have to rivet it back in, and I kind of wish they included clips/screws so that could be an option. I hate rivets. But can't fault them for sticking with what the oem design is. Everything went back together just fine and overall this was not a difficult install, and much better sound. The stock speakers were complete trash and had these tiny little magnets. I can hear bass now! I mean, not meant to be a subwoofer, but it's nice to have a little more than just vocal midrange.Contrast this to the experience I had putting some cheaper ones in the rear of the prius, which were not a kit like this but just standard speakers. It was a rough ride, had to take the stock speaker bracket and modify it and drill into the plastic to fit the new speakers, and ended up killing one in the process since my drill slipped while doing all the drilling. For the price of 2 of those sets of speakers and all the rivets and time spent drilling and dremeling, I probably just could have gone powerbass coaxials (OE652-TY) in the rear as well. Think about it!

Great fit, good sound, minimal modification needed on 17 Corolla.
Review summary- definitely recommend, especially for someone who is not very experienced with this type of job.Just installed in about an hour. Come with everything needed to fit my 17 Corolla. You'll need a drill to get the old speakers out as the are riveted in. And a rivet tool to put the new ones in or you'll need your own screws. The sound is good with a factory head unit. Fairly noticable at normal listening volumes and significantly clearer at higher volumes. My only complaint is the tweeter didn't fit quite right. The ring around it was a tad thicker than the clips are long. With a little work you can get 2 of the 3 clips to grab and hold.

Quality is great
For starters I put these 4 speakers into my 2011 Lexus is250c. The door subs went in no issue at all, complete plug and play, the tweeters however was where I ran into issues, right off the bat I knew I was gonna have to splice it which wasn’t hard at all, then the bracket needed to be modified but some super glue did the job (people recommend more putty based adhesive but it’s a tweeter is not produce bass and consistently being bounced, but if does come unattached it’s not in a hard spot to replace it on the bracket). Once it was all connected and the door was put back on, man is the quality worth the afternoon project, the bass on the subs wasn’t a big improvement but it sounded like more quality bass and less ghetto, and the tweeters man, I heard a lot more layers in some of the songs that I always play and it made me ecstatic! Worth the money and it was a fun project considering I have never worked on any sort of car at all.

Very good sound quality
These pretty much work as advertised. Simply plug and play. At least for my 2015 Toyota RAV4. The Tweeter Mount was only long enough for one bolt to hold it in. I just used electrical tape to hold down the other side so it doesn't vibrate or move around. You do need a rivet gun to install the door speakers. Sound quality was significantly better than stock speakers. They are louder, have more bass, and more clarity overall. I highly recommend them!

Perfect fit installation and adapters make it simple - 2008 Toyota Prius
I was amazed how tiny the original door speaker magnets were and how light they were? Bass response with these compared to factory is definitely improved, lower lows and the tweeters have a much cleaner, highers range so now I hear more range and cleaner sounds at higher volume. This is with the base model head unit, which is not the best so can't wait to add and aftermarket head unit to make these speakers really shine. Best part is all hardware is included for the installation including the proper-size rivets (you need your own rivet gun) and very well packaged. Would definitely buy again and will update when I replace the head unit.

Great aftermarket factory replacement for Lexus
These are truly a better alternative to the factory speakers in my 2008 GS350. Crisper sound and better bass thanks to the larger magnet. No loss in volume either. Not disclosed is the high-end cutout (choke) installed on the woofers, it's designed to remove highs so you get better bass. I choose to leave them installed for now. I installed the woofers in my front doors but did not install the aftermarket tweeters at all. The Lexus factory tweeters in my GS are superior to 98% of the automotive tweeters on the market. I can't wait to replace the rear speakers too.
