Following the package instructions will net you a noodle that's well cooked, a bit small, and somewhat firm (or "toothsome" as my roommate likes to say). I like to cook them a bit longer and get softer noodles that are larger, but to each their own, either way they're good!

This is definitely a better limo mien noodle.

So many delicious noodles for such a great price. I've made so many soups and noodle dishes with these that surprised my tastebuds - these are going to be a pantry staple going forward.

I followed the instructions on the package. The udon tasted starchy even after rinsing in cold water. I am used to the frozen udon and these do not have the same chewy texture. A little disappointed but if you really miss udon, these might be the best substitute.

The texture of this noodles is good. Can be tasteless. When I cook it a second time, I add salt to the water. Taste much better the second time.

This is going to blow your mind , they are noodles and they taste like noodles, I put them in boiling water for 15 minutes and then they got soft and tasted like noodles, I got to say, I am very impressed at these noodles coming in from the mail and then being noodles after I put them in a pot.Every day is a struggle to wake up, I dream of haveing no noodles and seeing my noodles walk away from me and blocking me on Socel media. I really can't handle all the noodles that wont return my calls, but these noodles are not like that, I ordered them from the Internet and they just came in the mail, like magic.The factorys noodle making machine truly blew my mind, it not only made noodles but also put them in a bag for me to get in the mail and then put into boiling water. And now I'm not alone anymore, now I don't have to wake up alone and face the darkness of my mind all alone, now I have the Japanese udon noodles by my side to help me face all the pain.Thanks japanese udon noodle company, you made all the pain go away with your noodles.My life was bleak and hopeless, but all that is over now, all the hurt and pain is gone nowThank you thank you.Now I can finally have a good night sleep.
