Big fan here of this Movie
I will order this as i read a review that it has the cut version with better music i remember as a kid on a British VHS.Cult classic to manyAlso i am the one who made a fanedit on youtube because the DVD and Blu ray had the bad music and i edited the best parts from each and added the VHS music to a HD version.I also fixed and improved the final fight and the yellow vest error. The differences are still on youtube now but my Fanedit was removed after 3 years being there and had millions of views.Lucky i do have my own copy of that.Percyfilms orginal vs faneditI know i will only like my version i did now as all of the edits i did to improve it and added some scenes in that which wasnt included in the cut VHS version. So i will wait and see if this does have that British VHS version as i know i had so many likes on my fanedit and they need to know.I will update when i watch it as the new UK release this week Sep 2021 is the uncut version that most of us Brits dont like and that was the reason i did my fanedit.Update.It is the UK VHS version we had as a kid on the 2nd disc like another reviewer said. Its weird watching it after my fanedit i did and mproved so much of the final fight and other scenes. So to me there is 3 versions out there and mine is still the best.English audio is on 2.0.The rest is German with 5.1

It's About Time
I've waited so long to get my hands on both versions of the movie on Blu-ray. The edited version is included and is far better than the international (uncut) version. It's the music that kills it. The main theme tune is Kevin Chalfont's 'Hold on to that Vision', which is a good song but it's the only song. The rest of the music is old Kung-Fu flick sound effects. Awful. The scene where Scott saves his dad is a prime example. The edited cut is uplifting whilst the international cut sounds weird. Anyway, this is the German version but can be viewed easily in English and both versions of the movie are included. There is a significant picture quality upgrade on both versions.

Amazing! And thank you
Firstly would like to thank the reviewers that stated it contains the original uk vhs version and soundtrack “stand on your own” as this is the version I grew up with and love! Found it was impossible to get hold of till now! If that is the version you want make sure you select Blu-ray double disc when purchasing!. (Disc 2 contains uk original vhs soundtrack, just change language from German to English and enjoy). So happy with purchase and great quality. Thanks seller!

Awesome 80's action
After getting rid of all my VHS tapes years ago I bought this on dvd only to find it was a different soundtrack which ruined the film for me. Although this is a foreign version and so you have to guess what means play in the disc menu it is easy enough and it comes with two discs, one is the original UK VHS version with the stand on your own training montage music. It was awesome to see it again with the proper music score. Buy this sit back and enjoy!

80,s Kung fu classic
Seen this in the 80s on VHS when I was about 16 and was addicted to the action and comedy with the added fact it was also about Bruce Lee, still a cracking little film , a little cheesy and daft but a real good memory boost and still excellent martial arts choreography, van damme looks mean and fighting is quite fierce and not all multiple cuts of the same kick/punch..picture quality is a little better than dvd ,sound is perfect and there's a few different scenes I don't remember seeing . My son used to watch it when he was younger, hes now 25 and loves it too..the only weird thing I noticed is how much the main lead actor resembles Brandon Lee?? Which obviously wasn't meant to be,but now spookier as Brandon also died young. 😒

No retreat no surrendering to its charm.
This was a staple of my youth. I must have seen it 100s of times in the late 80s and early 90s. Being a martial arts fan and practitioner this film just meant a lot. And was probably the first time I'd seen Bruce Lee in film (albeit an actor playing him) back then as there was no Internet or streaming and I wasn't old enough to get the VHS copies myself. Had to beg my parents at the time!Watching Scott Adkins interview Kurt as part of his Art Of Action youtube series brought the memories flooding back and as I couldn't find a UK version this had to do. And it's great. A real nostalgia trip.

yes,it is uncut and looks a bit better than the old DVD.
considering this is a very low budget movie and came out in 1986 it looks alot better on bluray and it does have some scenes not on the previous DVD/VHS release..Van Damme fans will love it!!-i recommend it if your a fan of martial arts and a VAN DAMME FAN!!

Van Dammes Debut
No Retreat No Surrender, Van Dammes Debut and it's not a bad movie at all just don't expect to see van damme an awful lot as he's not the lead but a great martial arts film from the 80s
