Cadac Skottel Braai Gas BBQ

Large enough and easily cleaned & stored away. I am going to buy the Carri Chef 2 lid & accessories to go with it as same diameter. Costly but still best gas braai by miles.

Lekker! breakfasts just like the old man would make! pitty my Boet is such a plank he can't sort out the gas regulator!!

Not as good as the one I owned previously. The whole design was neater with the Skottel Braai attached directly to the gas bottle. This on doesn't even come with the tubing and attachment necessary. When I rang Cadac to ask for one I spoke to an incredibly unhelpful person in 'customer 'service' who said that they didn't sell them direct and I would have to find a stockist....but could not even give me a list of stockists!! (They are not sold on Amazon) Eventually tracked one down to a company called Hamilton Gas (very helpful!)Having now finally got it working I still prefer the old model....However, if you have never bought one of these before , I highly recommend getting one. We use ours for cooking prawns, stir fries, paellas and, best of all, breakfast the morning after the night before!!

Really can't get on with this product - fat accumulates near the burner with inevitable consequences.. going back to the webbed portable at least it drains into a safe receptacle.
