Phenomenally good wifi range, better than some routers costing more twice as much
After years of makeshift solutions to solving the 'upstairs wifi' issue at home, thanks to a not fit for purpose Virgin Media 'Superhub' 3, I decided to sort it out.I put the superhub in modem mode, and used a TP Link Archer A7 (£85 when I bought it) in front of it as the actual router. This made a huge improvement to stability, but didn't fully solve the issue of range. So I used a couple of powerline adapters, and bought this router to act purely as an AP upstairs. This is working superbly, but what I hadn't counted on was *how* good the range of this device is. It covers the whole house (a reasonable sized family home), and the garden easily on its own. The TP link would be practically redundant were it not for the gigabit ethernet ports on the back of it being necessary for downstairs. I've used more than my fair share of routers over time, but this one - especially for the price - has impressed me the most.It was also very simple to set up - the only downside as I alluded to is that it's lan ports aren't gigabit ones, but for it's purpose for us that's fine.Highly recommended!

Huge improvement over stock Sky router
I have been using the stock router that came with my Sky broadband for years. It was only since becoming reliant on WiFi calling and trying out Google Stadia that I realised how poor the WiFi connection was. It would silently drop/disconnect and reconnect, making Stadia stutter and unplayable and WiFi calls unstable.I thought i'd give this router a try and noticed a difference straight away. It took minutes to set up (connects into an Ethernet port on the Sky router) and has been very stable in the few weeks I've had it. WiFi calls don't drop anymore and the Stadia is perfectly playable over WiFi. It has also extended the WiFi range to the back of the garden whereas before I would struggle to get signal at the front.Overall I am very happy with the router and am just gutted I didn't purchase one months ago.

Good product.
Great price on this router. I'm not 100% convinced about it's stability as it seemed to drop out a few times last time I used it in conjunction with a digital mixer. But then, many strange things happened that night in a haunted hotel.

GUI not the best!
OK, so the log in bit was easy.Bought this as a slave router to extend my network.Proceeded to assign a static IP address, same subnet mask as my main router, and of course the main gateway is the main router.Disabled the DHCP as you can't have two router's pushing out the same address range. Then the fun began, simply refused to connect, the default IP address for this router is 192.168.10.1 so you will need to change to suite your own network.Ran the CMD and despite assigning an IP for my network, a class /24 is kept coming back as 192.168.10.xI normally use DD-WRT flashed onto some Linksys routers which work great! My advice would be avoid, stick with a mesh network for simplicity.

Excellent product
I have two that I am using as Access Points connected via ethernet to my main router, greatly improving my wi-fi range. They are extremely reliable and very easy to set up. Definitely recommend buying. Great price too.

So disappointing, tech support patchy, needed a firmware upgrade to work!
I bought this ahead of a gig expecting it to be a plug-n-play job. No. Far from it. I thought I'd had this all setup but come broadcast day I wasnt able to get online so the stream didnt happen. Client was understanding, thankfully.Long story short:Had to contact EE to find out my 4G traffic code because the "AUTO" feature didnt work so couldnt work out it was one of the biggest UK providers going. What? After back + forth over email - because no phone numbers from the manufacturer. Equally their Facebook is manned by maybe one person, part time. Turns out I needed a firmware upgrade so this thing does NOT work out of the box as you'd expect in this day and age.The final thing that made me return it was that you can't do WISP mode on this. What I'd hoped having looked at their website for this model was that the POE module has a LAN port on it and the idea being that the unit goes outside on a 50m CAT5E cable and gets me 4G internet. I then use the POE module's LAN port so I can get that data into my laptop. Not so. I'd have to run a SECOND CAT5E cable out of the bottom of the unit to run back into to my laptop.Following more tech support it turns out that WISP mode is actually not supported on this device and the website is inaccurate/confusing/misleading.For what looked like the dream bit of kit for what I do turned into nothing short of a nightmare. If you're within WIFI range of it, such as it being on the roof of your caravan, shed etc then it'll be great. For those wanting 4G signal + speeds at a distance away from WIFI range - such as me Live Streaming in venues - then this is NOT the kit for you - unless you want two CAT5E cables running to + from.

Good product
Worked great for about a year, but kept dropping the signal when I changed ISP. The support team were really helpful in trying to identify the problem (10/10), ended up sending me a new unit. The new unit had similar issues, so I think it may have been more to do with my ISP than the router (which was great up until then). I ended up buying an extender and ethernet splitter from a different brand - still have issues with my signal...

Easy to set up
I use this as a wired network repeater with WiFi as a slave to my BT router. It's very easy to set up using the wizard. The WiFi is often better than my BT router even when the BT router is nearer

Efficiente

Super
Also ein absoluter Gewinn.
