Good EDC knife for light tasks
Sharp, with a very fine point. I was surprised at how large it was.

Excellent quality,great price
This fruit knife is impressive right out of the box! It is beautiful, the fit and finish is well done.the knife folda out,but does not lock although it has strong hinge will not close easily thus being relatively safe from closing on your fingers. The blade is stainless steel, which will not rust if you clean and dry immediately after use. It cuts fruit like a dream. I bought two, one for fruit, the other I use as a letter opener. I am completely satisfied t my purchases .

Good value
I like the knife. Mine is well constructed for the price point. Complaint: Mine is quite difficult to open. It is tight in the hinge point, which is good in that it has no locking mechanism. However, the very narrow blade offers very little to pinch with thumb & index finger to open the knife. This is the only knife I’ve ever owned that did not have a thumbnail groove to assist with the opening of the blade. A thumbnail groove would be another step in the manufacturing process, but it would be a welcome addition to this otherwise good and unique knife. With any luck, mine will loosen up over time and be easier to open. I would not find it useful in an emergency.

Blade does not lock.
Overall design of the knife is nice. Looks sleek and elegant. The most important factor is it has no safety lock. In normal use you would be fine but if a person tripped or the blade caught on something as the person is walking by it the blade can catastrophically close and possibly cause egregious harm to the fingers. It is a very very sharp blade. Which is a plus but also the reason for this review.

Quality knife for the price
A very nice, sharp and thin knife for precision cuts. The lock SHOULDN'T be a problem unless you don't know how to use slip joint locks.

Stay away from this one.
The backspring on mine was extremely weak in the open position. No snap at all. Just absolute mush. It does close completely unlike in some other reviews. The problem lies within the grind of the blade where it meets the spring. They ground the "open" area so it's too rounded. Nothing for the spring to hold on to. If you were to try to slice an apple, the blade would start to close upon withdrawal on the first slice due to friction between the blade and the apple. The other side of the blade has a similar problem when the tip remains exposed as other customers have found.Diagnosis... This knife suffers from acute floppy blade syndrome! On another note, the knife is not buffed to removed the sharp edges from the manufacturing process. While protruding during the swing of the blade, the edges on the backspring are quite sharp and can actually cut your fingers if they should happen to slide along it.Also, the bolsters are quite sharp on the inside edges as you run your fingers over the knife.I don't like a knife that doesn't feel smooth when you run your fingers over all of the edges. It's obvious to me, that this particular company employs unskilled, inexperienced labor to assemble their product. This is a very unrefined knife. The price is no excuse.Spend $8 more and get yourself a Rough Rider Toothpick. You'll end up with very nice budget knife.
