The reason these pans are 18/0 on the exterior is for superior performance on induction cooking surface. An induction pan with 18/10 would have inferior performance on an induction cooktop. If you're concerned about "pretty" rather than performance buy something else. But if you want superior performance using induction an cooktop, at a very reasonable price, these are the pans for you.

If you are trying to decide between glass or SS, get the SS lids, which this set has. I have the glass lid set, and I've broken one lid by dropping it.
