Good quality and value white de-icing rock salt. Weight of individual bags (10KG) is not too heavy, so easy to move and use. Good strong poly bags arrived with no damage or leakage. Works well to de-ice pathways etc in winter. Being white , it does not tend to leave unsightly red/orange residie on the ground or transfer it from footwwear onto flooring, minimising cleaning after use. Can apparently also be used as an effective weed killer, but I have not tried this. Very happy and would purchase again.

This seems to go a long way, a light sprinkling is enough to keep paths free of ice. When the weather was extremely cold, I sprinkled the path to the car in the evening, and was able to trot to the car in the morning, without slipping.

Good quality product. Sorted out the top of my drive during the last icy spell with a thin layer.

The product arrived in plain packaging, not in the branded packaging shown in the pictures. Should this matter? Maybe not for everyone, but I feel the description should accurately reflect what you’re buying. Plain packaging makes it unclear who the manufacturer is, which isn’t reassuring when it comes to something like rock salt. The salt itself seems fine, but the misleading presentation has knocked my confidence in the product.

Very effective at removing the danger of thick ice underfoot. You can walk safely on the rock salt. Helps to melt the ice.

Etwas überteuert, aber sehr gut. Wir verwenden es als Salz gegen Unkraut auf Kieselwegen. Es hinterlässt keine gelben Spuren auf weißem Kiesel und wirkt gut gegen Unkraut und Gras im Kiesel. Für die Streuung im Winter gibt es sicherlich günstigere Produkte, jedoch darf man nicht vergessen, dass die schweren Säcke auch per Post geliefert werden müssen. Das kostet vermutlich mehr als das Produkt selbst. Sehr zufrieden.
