Great smell and long lasting
I love all their black vanilla products. The smell is AMAZING. This gel has a great hold, just be sure to scrunch out the crunch after your hair is dry. I feel like it locks in a good amount of moisture and use it with their leave in conditioner, when I can find it. I have wavy hair and it helps keep the curls smooth. Lasts for several days, even in FL humidity.

AwesomeThis product is non-greasy it smells absolutely amazing and it works very well with your hair to keep your hair in place. It does not clump up and it does not flake it does not turn your hair white is very smooth on your hair and it actually helps your hair to grow and stay strong it’s a very good product I would recommend it

Great smell! Great hair freshener!
Smells great. Wish it was thicker, but it mostly does the job of holding my twists.

Moisture Personified
The moisture of this product to exemplary for my dry 4c henna’d hair. The gel creates a softness and defines the curl pattern and as a bonus shine. Incredible as I’ve been looking for something for years. With winter approaching in the northeast US I look forward to being able to don a hat and take it off and still be presentable. Game changer!!!

It flakes up like a brownish dandruff consistency
Does it work yes but prepare to have to wash your hair a lot. As we can agree I think washing your hair everyday day dries out your hair. If you don’t prepare for your hair to look like you have brown flake like dandruff. In the summer time I guess washing and moisturizing is ok but in these winter like conditions where the temp is like 10 to 30 degrees east coast it’s dangerous to wash and leave the house everyday unless you want to catch a cold or worse pneumonia.

Great! Holds everything in place when brusing hair into a ponytail. Smells good too!
I love this gel!! I stopped using gels in my hair years ago, but sadly I still need some when I pull my hair back. My hair tends to get frizzy in the front and sides. It's my dry spot. I used many gels and this one is the only one that keeps my hair nicely in place. I put a little bit on the brush and brush back. Repeat on the sides. I wear glasses and that doesn't help my side "edges." I'm not a fan of hair spray and although some hair milk has helped, for a gel, this one is my go to. I wish it came in a bigger container. I have thick curly hair. This is my first time using, I'm on my second container. It lasted about a Month, I believe.
