Very good item. I thought it will be smaller though. It is quite chunky.

I come from a medical family and I have a love for anatomical imagery, so even though I do not have any immediate use for a badge reel, I could not resist this one which features a quirky labelled illustration of a human brain. It costs £3.99 at time of review and initial examination leads me to believe this is good value. It feels well made and solid - indeed somewhat frustratingly so for my purposes, as I was looking to dismantle it and repurpose the brain motif for some jewellery! In real life it does feel like something that will put up with a fair amount of use. The reel mechanism feels good and sturdy, it takes a bit of effort to pull and retracts smoothly and sharple. The metal alligator-style clip for affixing also feels substantial and grippy for purposes, and is set into the reel in such a way that it rotates to relieve wear and tear. The clear plastic strap designed to hold the badge is somewhat thinner than I might have expected, but also feels fairly strong and the popper closes very firmly. The image is printed nice and clearly with bright colours and a holographic sequin border which is super cute. Obviously I can’t use this for my intended purpose, but I will attach to my bag with keys or find some other use for it as it’s far too good to sit in a drawer, and I’m sure it will ultimately be well used and enjoyed wherever I place it.

If you order to help you remember the parts of the brain know that hypothalamus and thalamus is spelt incorrectly and some parts are very hard to read, If just fir thw picture then it's fine
