Every seed that I have planted sprouted and started to grow, but something keeps eating them, so I have nothing to show for it, but they do grow.

I planted,6 seeds and 4 sprouted. Very good.

I planted asparagus this past Spring and the one before, it takes a very long time to come up but it eventually did all come up. Next Spring I’ll be putting these in for a purple variety in the garden. These seeds look good, they are big and whole. You can see how many come in the pack, see pic.. the date is good, they are fresh and the packet has all the planting instructions on the back. It takes three years before you actually get edible shoots, that’s why I plant some every year to keep a succession going. Can’t wait to get these in the ground, but it’s winter now so I’ll have to wait for Spring. Do be patient with asparagus, I actually gave up but after a couple months but then suddenly it all started coming up. I’ll report back on germination rate but I’m sure they will be fine.

I am excited to try these Purple Asparagus Seeds. I have never grown asparagus so this is a first for me.I appreciate that these are non-GMO Heirloom seeds. This is a great pack with planting instructions on the back but I can't plant them right now in November in Florida so I can't comment on germination and results.I would recommend this pack of non-GMO heirloom seeds to add to your seed stores. They would make a great gift for a homesteader or avid gardener.Not sure why the 'Packed Date' says 2025?
