Love these! They did amazing for my chocolate I needed to dye and I didn’t have any issue of clumping, texture, or consistency! It kept it smooth and the colors are vibrant and it has 0 taste! They are quite small bottles, however with chocolate you don’t need much!

Tiny bottles with an array of colors. Didn't have the boldness that I expected from oil based coloring. There is a slight aftertaste that's different from my gel colors. I didn't pay much for them, but could see where fewer colors(I can mix my own shades) and larger bottles would help me in the future.

I made the mistake of using this to color baby oil for a tumbler. Not long after, the color leached out of the oil and into the water. I looked at the ingredients and was not at all surprised to see that there is absolutely no oil component in the ingredients list at all. They are glycerine based—which is water soluble. As you can see, it even has water as an ingredient. Since this product uses glycerin as its main ingredient apart from colors, it will not work in any application where the coloring needs to bond specifically with oil and no other liquid—like water, for example. While they may work for chocolates and the like, they are more of a “gel” coloring than a true oil based coloring since glycerine is water soluble. That makes a HUGE difference in applications where oils need to be colored. If you, like me, are planning to use this for crafting purposes, be aware that this is not the item you need. Find another truly oil based coloring brand. This one does not work.

I needed something to color melting chocolate with and these fit the bill. Beautiful colors, easy to use.
