Tiny, multifunction flashlight, very bright
This is a very useful multifunction light. The main light is super bright, probably very close to the claimed 1,000 lumens. The side lights are also useful, including the UV light. One surprising feature is that you can use the light while charging it. It's the perfect size for pocket or purse. An excellent EDC light for self defense. Bright enough to temporarily blind an attacker, and also with an audible alarm loud enough to get attention.

Mighty things in small packages
I did not fully appreciate just how small this light actually is until I took it out of the package and actually started testing it out. Let me just say that I am super impressed. It is VERY powerful while still being so insanely small that you could EASILY put it in your pocket or attach it to a lanyard. And it is very lightweight, so it wouldn't make you feel like you're adding a pouch of rocks to your pocket or neck. Just for comparison, I put it side by side with the flashlight on my iPhone 15 Pro Max turned all the way up, and the LOW setting on this flashlight is considerably brighter than my phone light maxed out! Don't even get me started on the turbo setting...I turned that on in a dark room to see how well it would light up the room and it honestly looked like the ceiling light was on. To say that I am impressed is a bit of an understatement, to be honest. HOWEVER...one thing that bothers me is the magnet on the bottom. The idea is fantastic: that you could just place the light on a metal surface and point it wherever you need light. The problem is that it's just one single magnet, which, while it IS pretty strong, it is off-center so the light swivels on it's own when it's on a smoother surface as it gets closer to parallel with the ground. This isn't a HUGE issue, given that it's supposed to be more of an all-in-one light, but it's definitely worth pointing out. I just wish it had two slightly smaller magnets to give it the same power as the one but allow it to stay put no matter how it was placed on a surface. I was also dubious about the UV light function, because it isn't an actual UV LED that turns on, it's a mix of the red, green, and white LEDs that it has on the side. When I first was messing around with that portion of the light, I couldn't figure out what it was supposed to be for because it was so dim. But I did a couple tests with UV sensitive materials after figuring out that that's what it was for and it does actually have a UV effect to it. Again, it's pretty dim, but it's meant for survival and being able to see scorpions, so I imagine it would do the job pretty well. The other lights on the side functions are impressively bright, and the alarm function scared the crap out of me and my dog when I was first messing around with it. Haha. It's totally fine. But, honestly, I can see that being extremely useful in certain situations. The ONLY downside to the alarm function is that you DO have to hold the button down for it to work. As soon as you let off the button, the alarm and flashing lights turn off as well. And the instructions say to press the button 3 times to start the alarm, but that is false instruction. Pressing the "side" button 3 times actually turns on the main light with red lights. Which, the instructions in general are lacking...I actually had to mess around with the buttons myself to really figure it all out. Just FYI, you have to press either button twice to get one of the lights to turn on. After that, pressing it once each time will change the effect (brightness for the main light, colors for the side lights). And then to turn it off you have to long press the corresponding button. Also worth noting, you CANNOT have BOTH the side AND main lights on at the same time. I think that would be a pretty nice feature, but it just shuts the other light off when you try to turn on the opposing light. Aside from those minor things, I honestly would highly recommend this light to pretty much anyone. It's super compact, super useful for a TON of different applications, and extremely bright. 100% worth the purchase to anyone on the fence about it.

Great little flashlight
Very bright. The clip is convenient to attach to my jacket. Provides a good focused beam out for 50-100 feet. I use it on our morning walks, before sunrise. (If the seller is reading this, consider making the user instructions a little easier to read. )

My favorite, small EDC flashlight
I got this flashlight to replace one that I lost on a recent trip. I have been looking at some more expensive ones from a well-known company until I saw this one. This one seems to check all the boxes and has just as many features as the more expensive ones. In my opinion, this was the better value. It came with two little diffusers, one white and one orange that are pretty neat little accessories, but I really don’t use them. It also came with a little carrying strap which I don’t use because most of the time I either have it clipped to my front pocket or I have it inside of my EDC tech bag. The build quality of this flashlight is great. It seems to be pretty sturdy. I really love the translucent design, allowing you to see the inner workings of the flashlight. I think that gives it a nice futuristic look. Another thing that I like about this flashlight is the way the light swivels. My one did not have that feature. Now, when it comes to the main feature, the light itself, I was presently surprised at how bright it gets, especially for its size. I will say that the one that I am replacing this one for had a few more light settings than this one but with that being said, this one is a better flashlight than that one. Another cool feature that also made me choose this light is the fact that it has the reverse belt clip that I use to put on my baseball caps when I’m outside at night. That feature alone has come in very handy since I’ve had this little EDC light. When it comes to the battery life, it is pretty decent for what it is. I also really like that It has a rechargeable battery instead of having to worry about replacing batteries all the time that is a huge plus. To sum things up, this is a very good value when it comes to small EDC flashlights. It has really come in handy for me. This is the best small budget friendly EDC flashlight in my opinion.

Best small utility light I've seen
This is a powerful, compact and convenient flashlight. The best pocket-sized light I've come across. Good weight, size and features. Not perfect (see below) but better than what I've seen. Size is good for a pocket. The clip is stiff, so it takes some effort to attach to a shirt, but for me that's a good thing - it stays put. The "top" with the "regular" flashlight functions rotates 180 degrees, which is very useful. The construction, despite all the features, seems solid. Rechargeable (USB-C) battery is a substantial 1100mah. The interface is simple, but while easy to remember once you figure it out, it's not obvious. This is the price it pays for having about a dozen configurations controlled by just two buttons. The brightest setting is very bright - not tactical, but close. You wouldn't want someone shining it in your face. Easily illuminates a wall at 40 feet. They claim 100 meter range (the length of a football field - I didn't try that but it's possible). To turn anything on requires either a double (or in one case triple) button press or depressing continuously, so you you don't have to worry about it going off accidentally in your pocket. There are four intensity levels for the main light, and unlike every single light like this that I've seen, each is a clearly distinct and useful lumen level. And it remembers your last settings - both intensity for the main light, and which "feature" for the side lights, so when you turn them back on, you don't have to cycle again unless you want a new level. This is very important to me and surprisingly uncommon in these small lights. Documentation is not great. I basically figured everything out by trial and error. Someone said they couldn't figure out how to get the front red light to work - that's 3 presses of the left button. I found that by accident. Summary - fantastic pocket light.

Bright
What I like about this flashlight is that it is definitely bright and also easy to carry around. It's small and pocket sized and also comes with a wrist strap that allows you to keep it secure around your wrist. Easy to charge with the USB-C connector and rotating head is also useful. The other nice thing about this is the magnetic base on the bottom. I've used this a few times when I was doing some upgrades on my PC. My PC is under my desk where it's dark, but I was able to attach the flashlight to the metal frame and have plenty of light to work with right where I needed it. Some of the features are a bit "gimmicky" to me. The different colored LEDs on the side are fun but for me personally I don't know if it adds much value. Also, to turn on the lights, you have to double click the button, but not too fast. It took me a few tries to get the timing right. I suppose this is good so that it doesn't accidentally turn on with a press in the pocket, but it's definitely a bit different from other simpler flashlights that I have. There are also a couple of caps that come with it, one white and one orange. They are not mentioned in the manual but I assume they are light diffusers. They actually are pretty useful when you want to illuminate a wide area instead of just a spot. You could use this to light up a room if you wanted to.

Here’s how to operate it
A review of NASOFIR Powerful EDC Flashlight, 1000 Lumens USB C. I really like the design of this flashlight. The rotating head makes it great for positioning the light to work on something. You can use the magnetic bottom to attach it to the inside of the engine compartment for illumination. The light is small enough to carry in your pocket or purse. For being so small, it’s really bright. There are various colored lights on the side. I’m not sure what you would use them all for, but they look cool. The alarm is actually pretty loud. I would think it would startle someone when triggered. The only downside is the instructions. They don’t adequately tell you how to operate the light. Here’s how: To momentarily turn on the front lights, Press the right button. To cycle through the various brightness levels, click the right button twice and then once for each brightness setting. Press and hold the right button to turn the lights off. To turn the front lights on in red, press the left button 3 times. To turn the side lights on, press the left button 2 times. Then press once to cycle through the various colors. To turn the alarm on, press and hold the left button. I’ve ordered several flashlights like this one, and I like this one the best.

Seemingly well-built, somewhat heavy (for EDC), flashlight with multiple light options & siren
I thought I was going to have the opportunity to compare two similar types of flashlights; however, after receiving the NASOFIR EDC flashlight I realized that it was nearly identical to a flashlight I already reviewed. There was one slight variation, the case of the NASOFIR flashlight is not phosphorescent (i.e., it does not glow in the dark when exposed to light). Nevertheless, this is a powerful, relatively small flashlight with multiple options and some room for improvement. First, it is rather large and heavy to attach to a ballcap or for EDC (every day carry). Second, it has nice loud, irritating (which is good, in this case) siren; however, when you press the button to activate this siren with your thumb, the light that comes on is a flashing, alternating blue/red light under your thumb. In my opinion, it would be better if when you activated the siren, it turned on the main white LEDs in “turbo” mode. These incredibly bright LEDs would help serve as a deterrent along with the siren. While most men would be hesitant about putting this in their everyday pants pockets, women might like to carry this light in their purses. The flashlight does have a wrist strap and the 180-degree rotation capability of the light. The instructions are included and they are OK but they could be larger print and they do not include a diagram that explains how the user activates the different modes. It is explained, however, with text. PROS • Nice, seemingly well-built flashlight with multiple modes and brightnesses. • Charges with a USB-C connector. • 180-degree rotatable head. • Both switches (main and alarm) “remember” the last setting (e.g., if you were in low-power solid red for night vision, and hit the alarm switch twice, the low-power solid red LED turns on). • Loud, high-pitched alarm. • Magnet on the base of the light. • The “turbo” mode is easily activated by depressing and holding the main switch. • The siren is easily activated by depressing and holding the alarm switch. • The white and orange silicone light diffusers are a nice addition to the light as well. CONS • The button push sequences are somewhat complicated (but explained in the instructions but as text only – not a diagram). • Not a big deal but the case does not glow in the dark after exposure to light. • Rather large and heavy for EDC in pants pockets or clipped to a ballcap. • When the siren is activated a flashing red/blue light pattern is activated but under the user’s thumb – the white lights in “turbo” mode would be a better option and a deterrent.
