My lips were a dry, peeling mess from a couple winter weeks in the desert, and my go-tos weren’t doing what I needed. ENTER: the greatest lip treatment I have ever used! I get excited to get out of bed in the morning so I can put on a thin layer after I brush my teeth — I’m not joking — I *love* the thick, slightly sweet peppermint gloss and how it truly does melt into a balm that lingers then settles in, sealing moisture and plumping. I found I was applying far too much product in the beginning. Really just a small dot that I work over my lips (it melts/spreads easier with body heat) does the trick. My lips were not just restored to their average state in basically a day — they’re now *beyond* butter soft all the time … hours and hours after I apply. This product does its freakin job, above and beyond. I’m OBSESSED, blowin’ a kiss to Patchology for a slam dunk 💋

I first purchase this lip product at Ulta a few months ago because it was on sale and I thought I’d give it a try! I’m a lip gloss and lip treatment junkie! Well, first night I used this product before bed I knew it was special! I woke up in the am and my lips felt so soft and looked so smooth and pretty!! Ulta NO longer carries this product, I assume that is why it was on sale when I bought it. So, I KNEW I had to run to Amazon to buy a backup!!! And, here I am! So, this lip treatment, it is slightly sticky. I only really use it before bed time and I sleep with a good thick coat on my lips. I have also used a thinner amount of it during the day as well but, I mainly just use it every night. It has a cooling mint sensation to it! It is not overly minty though, it is just Right! I have used MANY high end Prestige brands of lip treatments and I have no clue what this one has in it to give such amazing results but, it truly does!! I suffer from chronic cracked and dry lips! I also Love wearing liquid lipsticks and for awhile I just couldn’t because my lips were always so dry no matter what I used or did! I will be buying more of this to stock up, if possible!? I hate that Ulta does not have it anymore and I’m worried it may be being discontinued?? I have to check and see, actually? Anyway, this stuff is the Best! I promise you better than Anything else out there!!!!!!

Lovely lipgloss with a tingly peppermint feel

I was eyeing this balm for awhile and purchased it when it was 50% off. I am SO glad I did. I have chronically dry lips and have been using Burt's Bees chapstick throughout the day for many years. I recently purchased Kinship Supermelt and EOS The Fixer, which both work pretty well, but Patchology Lip Service knocks everything out of the park. This balm is slightly tingly with a light peppermint flavor, almost like peppermint bark instead of just straight up peppermint like Burt's Bees. It stays shiny on my lips like lip gloss and is slightly tacky but not sticky at all. My lips are hydrated and supple so much more with this product than anything else I've used. I cannot recommend this stuff enough. If you're on the fence, or even if you're not, just go for it. It's well worth the very fair price.

So your lips are dry or normal and you want to make them soft or keep them soft, use this product. It goes on as a gloss and (using the term loosely) "dries" down to a balm. Your lips never feel dry. It just turns into a softness without the gloss. It has a wonderful slip feel but never tacky or like your lips have tons of product. The effects last for hours and hours with softness. I put it on before bed and the effects are still felt upon awakening. I use it throughout the day but never feel like it needs to be refreshed as often as lipstick or other glosses/balms. I has no weird taste. I've highly recommended it to all my friends and family.

smells alright and i like the applicator, but it is pretty sticky. not my favorite lip balm and wouldn’t buy it again.
