It’s old & expired - the product was rock hard and completely unusable.

I think they must change packingIt is vacuum packed because of that it becomes hard like a brick and hard to use I have to put it in grinder to make it in to powderOtherwise it’s good product

I love the quality but the fact that it’s vacuum sealed isn’t that great. The flour is so hard pressed that you can’t break it into power flour again, and when mixed with liquid, turns into so many lumps.

I've never used chickpea flour so I can't compare this to anything else as a cook. But I've eaten Indian food utilizing chickpea flour since childhood, so I know what it's supposed to taste like. I chose this flour because it's organic. It arrives in bricks, vacuum sealed. I don't know why it's packaged this way, maybe it's more compact or is more food safe? I opened it up and then broke up one brick pretty easily, and put it in a storage container. I use this flour for making besan puda, also known as savory pancake/vegetarian omelette. It's very good. I usually set aside enough for a couple meals in a Tupperware type container, and add all my spices to it, so that when it's time to cook, the mix is already prepared. Makes for a faster breakfast.
