Very easy to install. Bought it for my current helmet knowing I will be getting a different one soon, so I wasn't looking for a mount I had to stick onto my helmet. This hit the spot perfect!

For my helmet makes it hard to look down as the piece that keeps it attached sticks out and hits my upper chest. But that could just be my helmet … may work better for others

This is an interesting product. Many helmet-specific mounts are now hitting the market with $35+ price tags. This product promises to be as fittable with almost any helmet and for a much smaller price.And it does so admirably.In my case I have a SHOEI that does not fit the inherent contours of the mount (in fact it zags a bit while the mount zigs a bit in opposite direction) but makes up for it with a secure pad and tightening application. Notice how the lip of the front of my helmet actually protrudes in the very spot the mount wants it to be slightly recessed. But it mounts and tightens very well anyway.I have been using it for weeks with my camera and it has done a great job--getting the exact perspective I want and holding it firm.This is a cool product.
