Bas Rutten has had several careers outside of the ring, as an actor, a host and a television personality. He is also an author. Rutten also provided the commentary for several fights for several organizations - he is a natural. This talent is evident while he is demonstrating and describing ground fighting, reversals and escapes on this, and the other 9 DVDs. Using a partner, Rutten slowly shows you how to get out of being pinned to the ground by carefully drawing attention as to where each body part goes, where each leg and arm is grabbed or tucked in, and then executing the technique at speed. As usual he is very informative but also funny.
