Lovely mini sweet bombs
No clumping, so easy to portion out. I just love the sweet explosive kick when chewing on one of these. I always add pois to food, rather than enjoy as a side serving. Cooking too long ruins the soft texture and kills the sweetness, so consider adding near the end of cooking.

You could be forgiven for thinking that there's no difference between supermarket frozen Petit Pois, but that's not true... You can get dirt cheap petit pois that are quite bitter... I now know why my Mum used to add a couple of teaspoons of sugar to the peas when I was a kid... it makes them nice and sweet... These Morrisons ones are pretty good... Not the cheapest, but the quality is fine and I'd probably buy them again if I was doing a Morrisons online shop.
