My minpin mix has CHF and has terrible coughing spells. This syrup doesn’t do away with the coughs but does eliminate a good many of them. She’s also a very picky eater and smells everything before eating, but she evidently likes the smell and taste of this syrup and takes it willingly. I put it in a small dish next to her feed dish and she laps it up just fine. I give it to her three times a day, a bit more than recommend but spaced out, it seems to help.

Our senior rescue chihuahua developed that constant, awful gagging cough that goes with congestive heart failure. Poor thing is very afraid of the vet and will not take any medicine ever. We thought we’d try this and it really does work! She has been on it for about a month and rarely coughs at all anymore. It took about two weeks to see remarkable change. Plus she will lick it right from the syringe, and this dog will fight tooth and nail to not take medicine. Her quality of life is so much better. We are so pleased!

I have a 16 year old Pomeranian that is in heart failure (CHF)-she's doing well on medication, but she coughs a lot & I was looking for something to help her. I ran across this & decided to give it a try-glad I did. I've been giving it to her for 4 days now & while it doesn't completely stop the coughing, it definitely reduces it. I lost her sister last year to CHF & I wish I had known about this for her. I've been turning to more natural, herbal remedies for my husband & I, so it only makes sense that I give them a try for my dog. I work in Vet Med, know that there's no cure for CHF & I will eventually lose her too, but if I can give her something like this to help support her system, relieve her symptoms & give her a better quality of life for however long-it's worth it.

Made no difference in frequency or intensity of my dog’s cough. Dog suffers from enlarged heart that is pressing against the trachea and causing the non-stop cough. The bottle is very small and would last you no more than a week if you give it in the dosage and frequency provided on the bottle. I really hoped this would work. Ask your doctor about Cerenia - very expensive drug too but if your insurance covers it, worth the money ( it’s primary use is to prevent vomiting but side effect is that it stops the cough)

Being in rescue all these years and just found this item. IT WORKS!!! He has been doing so much better. Great product

Used a syringe to give to my girl. She took it ok. Didn’t really see a difference in her choking/coughing.

We have a 12 year old male dog with congestive heart failure. We went to 3 different vets and were given over $900.00 worth of medication but NONE of that worked. I saw Paw Healer products oh Amazon thought I'd try it. It gives my dog the relief he needs from coughing so he can get the rest he needs. He HATES medicine but LOVES this syrup. I just ordered two more bottles and will continue to order it until my dog passes away. You can't lose with this medicine and you'll save BIG TIME.

My dog was diagnosed with degenerative heart disease about 6 months ago and is on 3 different heart meds. Recently she started coughing at night. I read all the reviews and decided to give this stuff a try. I was shocked at how little you get for the price considering it recommends give 3-4 doses a day. My dog is only 10lbs so she gets 1/4 tsp per dose. I have been using this product for about 2 weeks now and only giving her 2 doses a day and I feel this bottle isn’t going to last very long. I haven’t noticed a significant difference in the coughing so I do not think I will be reordering once the bottle runs out.
