Solid lights for jeeping in inclimate weather
I got these to put on my 2000 Jeep Cherokee as hood mounted flood lights for night driving in rain or snow. Over the past 8 months I've gotten the chance to use them a handful of times and have been very happy with them. Light output and spread is great giving a real usable amber light vs some of the cheap ones I've had in years past. Makes seeing through rain much easier and somewhat better in snow (reflectivity of snow is bad no matter what ya do).Install wise, this was pretty easy. The harness is weather tight and has nice connectors to make the whole system serviceable and worry free. I did skip the included switch in favor of a factory style jeep switch that I have in my dash but the button included is ok quality and lights up without being blinding when testing it on my bench power supply. All told, for what you pay for this kit, how much you get, and the relative quality of everything, this is a pretty good deal. Sure there are kits out there for much more money that have fancier construction or features and whatnot, but for a good set of amber inclement weather lights that wont leave you in the poor house or let you down at a bad time, this is a good buy. Plus the savings can be put to better use on other upgrades for an offroad rig (like lockers or a winch, because wow the name brands of these types of lights are in the hundreds of dollars now for some reason).

Works well in fog.
These are great for adding some light down low and to the sides of the road. The amber color works well in heavy fog. I cut off the switch and added one that matches the stock switches in my '01 Wrangler.

Good for Close in Work Lights
I bout three pairs of these to mount on my Kubota tractor's ROPS. Since each one has 60 degrees of coverage I am able to have 360 degrees of light around the tractor and from the edge of the machine out to approximately 25'. These are floodlights and provide very even coverage but obviously have little to no throw distance. Also, being only 1,000 lumens they provide great lighting again out to a max of about 25' for detailed work.

Great for the price
Well made, nice looking lights. Easy to install. Probably not as bright as some more expensive lights but sufficient. Can't beat the price.

Support useless after intermittent failures
Lights are exactly what I wanted, but they fail after riding around on my motorcycle for a bit. They return to functionality after returning home and leaving them for a while. Must be overheating, right? Support was useless and blamed my installation. I'm an ex-electronics tech from back in the USAF. I installed them correctly.

Solidly built, but not much light
I’ve installed these on my motorcycle for conspicuity lights. They work well for that, the light is diffuse and doesn’t blind oncoming vehicles (no flashing headlights so far). As for providing actual road lighting, that part is disappointing. There just isn’t much light coming out.The wiring harness and connections are very impressive, waterproof and very heavy duty. Top marks in that department. The light is more orange than amber.

Fits perfectly on cowl mount.
Small and roundish housing fits with the overall Jeep look.Lights tend to be dimmer when amber but definitely could be brighter. The similar size white cowl lights for forward facing lights up great. Wish I had gotten a side facing amber light that is much brighter. If not, I’ll give this 5 stars.
