Works just fine. Just like any grinder, if you have really frosty nuggets you have to keep it as clean as possible to get the most use out of it. Before it clogs up so much you can no longer twist it.I just wish there were more non painted/ coated options on the market.

I've bought Santa Cruz, Viking Axe, Roni, and many cheap other grinders from local tobacco stores. This grinder out performs most of the ones I've owned. I bought a Santa Cruz Shredder a week ago and the top is already sticking and not grinding like it should. This is the only grinder that can stand up to the use I put it through. I'm grinding ounces every week though this and it holds up for over a year. This is my 2nd one in 3 years. The fine grind is perfect for packing cones. Even smoke.
