An Addictive Toy for All Ages
I bought one of these magnetic fidget cubes as a present for my son. It was an instant hit. Now, almost nine months later, he can still play with it for what seems like hours. Several of our adult friends who saw him play with it were also fascinated by it. Indeed, it is hard to put down, and it is well worth the money when it comes to creativity of design, quality of manufacturing, and entertainment. I ended up buying additional fidget cubes per my son's request, so he can build even more interesting shapes.

Fun to play with, especially if you're into magnetic origami
Wow, watching the demo video on the product page, that guy must be a wizard! I'm not nearly that smooth manipulating my new Shashibo, maybe with lots of practice? I'm new to this Shashibo phenomenon, didn't know it existed until I saw this one and ordered it. I am by no means a collector or aficionado, so I am reviewing from the standpoint of a new user. First, the item. Feels well-constructed, sturdy, durable. Satisfying clicks when the magnetic panels slap together, and lots of entertaining tactile stimulation playing with magnetic forces tugging and pulling the panels into different configurations. I can't imagine how they managed to align the magnets such that the panels always attract each other, never repel (at least, as far as I can tell) so that's kind of amazing in and of itself. Next, the accompanying information. Weak. The product insert shows a few shapes, and has a QR code for accessing more information. I looked into downloading the associated mobile phone app, but decided against it after seeing the 2.1 star rating in the app store, and reading several reviews stating the app hasn't changed much since 2021, and all it does is link to videos. I managed to find and download a photo checklist of all 70 shapes on the company web site, but the photos are small and only show one view, so it's more difficult than it should be to understand just what shape it is that I'm supposed to be trying to make. This is definitely not a toy for anyone who is easily frustrated, or who tends to force compliance rather than working to solve puzzles. I think it would be more fun for me if accessing supporting info was simpler. Like, how about a more comprehensive printed product insert, so I don't have to go down the Interweb rabbit hole in order to find out how to play with it? All things considered, I like it, I'm happy with it, but better supporting info would be better for new users. Four stars.

Curious Fun
Exactly as pictured. I bought as a Christmas present for a 7 year old boy. It’s make from a thick material so I don’t think it will break or tear easily. It folds easily and you don’t have to force it into any shapes. Getting it back to a cube is a fun challenge in itself

Very high quality and fun fidget toy.
I absolutely love this shashibo. It’s so easy to use and fun to play with. Was worth buying and I can’t wait to use it during boring days at work. Its functionality is amazing. Both kids and adults can play with it. And it’s quite durable.

Expensive for what it was!

Good puzzle that has kept my 10 year old grandson quite engaged. However, it’s very small and quite flimsy and quite expensive for what it is.
