Have to agree with previous reviews. It IS very sharp. But the finish of the actual body of the cutter is poor around the edges. The velvet style lining of the box is great but the box looked like it had been bashed around in a garage for 4 years. Puts me off buying one for a friend as a birthday present, but I could have just been unlucky.Still, does a good job for a good price.

a bit stiff

I recieved my cigar cutter very quickly and it came boxed with a lovely red silk lining.This would make an excellent gift or you could just leave it on display like I plan to next week when I'm hosting a dinner party

Alright so I am a bit mixed when it comes to this cutter. I want to like it, every time I look at it, it looks really good, but it just feels wrong when held. The edges of the cutter are too sharp, the device feels out of balance when held and I feel it doesn't cut the cigars so well. It just should not be so difficult to use a cigar cutter! So although the cutter itself looks nice, it just doesn't feel as crisp and balanced as it should.

Does exactly what it needs to. Smooth motion and effortless cutting. Would recommend. Also the box is badass.

It's cheap, it's solid, it works well and it's easy to use. What else could you want?Another reviewer complained of "sharp edges" and it's true that the corners aren't smoothly rounded, but I quite like that industrial feel.
