This book opened my eyes to the VC approach. I was mesmerised and hooked from the start. I'm not sure how many corporate mindsets will assimilate this knowledge given different incentive structures and time horizons.

However, I'd recommend pausing to reflect on the practical suggestions each section offers.Rather than providing a simple formula for success, the book helps you internalize the attitudes of successful individuals. While some may naturally possess this mindset, a key premise of the book is that it can be learned.

The book is one of the bricks for the foundation of understanding venture capital investment. It is difficult to overemphasise. But the quality of the print execution is like a very cheap free newspaper. I am very upset having paid a lot of money for a hardcover. It doesn't even have a title print on it.
