Simply brilliant
I've tried a lot of boots, at all price levels, and I begrudge spending over a hundred for every day boots, hence trying these.......... Yes they are built to a price, but I've been wearing them for casual walking around for 3 months and I can only say for the money these are brilliant, the fit is nice and wide, they are super comfortable, the bed is a bit thin but it doesn't affect the comfort for me. They're not showing signs of wear, I've got them soaking and they didn't leak. For low level path walking these are ideal. If they fell apart tomorrow I'd buy another pair which says it all.

Great shoes
I’m on 20,000 miles walking in last 5 years. These shoes fit, straight off, no breaking in or initial discomfort. Lightweight. My heavy, special boots sit forlornly by the front door, abandoned. Streets, forest, riverbank, mud, moors, hills, cycling, it’s all the same. Superb shoe with excellent ankle support that are better than my £300 specialist boots, which wear out in a similar time frame and cost £100 a time to resole. Plus a month at the menders. I am on my third pair. With high mileage expect at least a years worth of wear. Which I think is great value. Plus they are actually waterproof. Excellent value all round. Highly recommended. Now on my 5th pair. Tried on all the expensive models from the mountaineering shops in London. I found that all their shoes were undersized by at least one size. I am size 10. In the anon shops a size 11 was a size 9. No way am I a size 12. I have paid good money for top boots at 300£ plus. I have found that these wear out much quicker than my £33 shoes from this seller. Plus I don’t have to send them to a foreign country to have them re-soled/heeled as their boots wear out in a fraction of the time than the shoes from this seller. My last pair of these shoes were bought one year ago. I do high mileage - 20,000 miles - in last five years. These shoes fit perfectly. Some time soon I will be able to claim that I walked the equivalent of walking the equator, IE around the World in these brilliant shoes. That’s 25000 miles or so. So whatever size you are these shoes will fit. Highly recommended.

Snapped laces after 3 months
Why did you choose this product over others?: Generally a good al round shoe, comfy if not a little broad for my feet, seem to be water resistant and grip is good but one of the laces has snapped after Not even 3 months. Not good enough really, how many pence have the saved in manufacture and now I have to buy more laces.

Great boots, comfortable and dry.
Very happy with these boots. Bought them as my old ones from another brand were falling apart and had an upcoming holding which would have a lot of walking in. At all times these boots remained comfortable and dry. We even ended up in some shallow water and they held up fine, as the picture shows. Stayed completely dry inside. I have since been wearing these boots for work and days out and they have remained comfortable and together so far. Very happy with these considering the price and would reccomend.

Proved their worth in the arctic
I recently came back from the north of Sweden where temperatures were close to -30°C. I had this pair of boots with me and a pair of boots more specialised for these conditions, but those Karrimors were so good that I didn't even use the other pair for the whole week I spent there. The Karrimors were comfortable, kept my feet dry and were light enough to allow good mobility in the snow. Where the snow was very packed they were very grippy and I can only remember once where I almost slipped. One downside is that the insulation around the toe area is on the thin side so after extended periods exposed in the elements you could start feeling the cold creeping in, even when wearing thick thermal socks. But overall, a great product at a great price.

Good boots
Bought these same boots now for the 4th time as my son really likes them. He thinks they are so comfortable and hard wearing. They look nice and he always picks the same colour. They offer him some support in his feet to help his feet be comfortable. They are not fully waterproof.

Good hiking boots at a good price
Used them a few times now. They're a good fit, sturdy, well made and grip difficult terrain. They keep my feet dry when needed and are easy to clean too.

Having been walking, trekking and mountaineering all over the world, I have used lots of different footwear. These are my 3rd pair of Karrimor Bodmin low walking shoes. I have found these to be very light but also hard wearing and comfortable. They usually last me about 18 months before the heel wears through. During that time though they are used almost daily from local walks on tarmac paths for about an hour right up to full mountain climbs over a whole day. I would say that they are not waterproof but weather resistant. If you must have full waterproofing then you need to pay more than these cost. I would not like to wear them in England in a wet winter for example but in Austria where I now live and the climate is much drier, then they are ideal. I have even worn them in shallow snow. The only small problem I have encountered is that to start with, the removable insole remains firmly stuck in the shoe and is comfortable. However with wear, the insole becomes unstuck. Eventually I have had to remove it and then wear two pairs of socks. I always order one size up from my normal shoe size. Overall I think these are great value for the price.

Stiff, they need breaking in and the shoes were dusty but nothing i could not handle. Just threw on a hazmat suit and ppp to unbox them. A wee bit on the large side for a 10 so thick socks will be required. Not sure if theses artificial rubber soles will be up to all the walking. First Impressions 4 Stars.
