We bought a brand new large cat scratcher but when we got it our kitten wouldn't use it. When I looked closely it was covered in nasty sharp sisal rope so I wasn't surprised he wouldn't touch it. Since I had a glue gun, I decided to replace the rope with this. Wow, what a difference. This has no nasty course strands and is great for sinking his claws into. Bits were falling off into his eyes with the previous sisal but this doesn't suffer from that issue. I would highly recommend if you need to replace worn sisal or a new post is covered in nasty sisal. Good value for money - there are others more pricey but exactly the same quality - I initially bought a more expensive one. I needed two rolls for this very fat tall scratcher. Very happy with the finished result - pic attached. Has saved our furniture from his claws!

Arrived on time. Decent quality with only a few frayed spots here and there but perfect for what I'm using it for. Price for the length is great will buy again if more is needed

Lovely sturdy rope. Used to re wrap a scratching post. Will probably do a few more with what’s left. I enjoyed the process. The rope is much stronger than the usual cat post stuff. Nice thickness too.

Used to re-rope a large cat scratching post and seems good quality with plenty to spare. Hopefully it will stand the test of time and is better than buying a new post when the rope wears out.

I bought this sisal rope to repair a scratch post my cats shredded but loved, so we didn't want to replace it and repaired instead.I find this rope to be really good quality, it was so easy to work with and it actually looks to be way more durable than the rope that was originally used on the scratch post.Cats already love and use it all the time once again so a great sign!Time will tell whether it is actually durable though as I have Maine coon who loves scratching :)
