Colic Calm Infant Gripe Water for Colic, Helps Fussiness, Upset Stomach, and Baby Gas Relief, 2 fl oz (Pack of 1)

All my babies get bad gas and get really upset and fussy and don't sleep too well because they wake up with gas. I discovered this with my third child, but due to the expense, I only used it very sparingly, so it didn't help much, but it gave relief when I used it. Now, with my 5th child, I decided it would be worth it if it gave my son relief. I have only used it mainly in the evening before bed so he gets a better night's sleep. When he was younger, like a few months old, he would get horrible bouts of gas every night and wake up a ton throughout the night fussing, sometimes every 10 minutes it would seem or anytime I put him down. I would give him colic calm and he would usually burp, fart, spit up, and poop within 10 minutes. Sometimes all of the above. It was crazy and he would be so much better. Someone had mentioned constipation, but with my babies, it had the opposite effect. They would go potty and feel better.I started giving it every night whether he would get fussy or not and he would have a much better night. I had tried (to save money) to only give it to him when he had a problem, but if he seemed to be doing fine and not gassy, inevitably he'd wake up throughout the night with gas and it was better to just give it to him before he had a problem rather than once he was in pain. It also makes him go to sleep. Sometimes when he's fussy and overtired and just won't go to sleep or wakes up every time I lay him down, if I give him colic calm, he goes to sleep within about 10 minutes typically and it's a life saver for me. Sometimes it's taken 2 back to back doses, but no more than that. If he's still fussy after a half hour, I give him another dose and it does the trick. I love that it's natural, or atleast mostly natural, and it works. Amazon seems to have the best price (at the moment) anywhere with their 2 pack. My son is now 5 months old and I've almost used 2 bottles, so it's worth it to me. He's a very happy baby overall!

I bought colic calm when my son was about 6 weeks old and seemed to cry for no reason (we suspected he was uncomfortable due to gas). I love that it's homeopathic and had great reviews. I'm always hesitant to give my son medications, but I liked that this didn't have artificial ingredients or dyes. My son is now 19 months old and we have been using it as needed since he was 6 weeks. We give it to him mostly for teething pain now (he's cutting 4 teeth at once), but every once in a while still give it to him if he seems to have an upset tummy.Pros: It does what it claims to do--calms an upset stomach and works for teething pain. I'm still not quite sure how it works for teething pain, maybe it's one of the "calming" ingredients, but whatever it is, I'll take it. When your child is suffering, you want to do anything you can to help them. I don't like giving pain killers for every tooth coming in.Con (but not really): It's black. You have to shake it really well before you dispense because it has a charcoal ingredient in it. It looks gross, but the charcoal helps calm the stomach and it really doesn't taste bad (I taste all of my son's medicine). Make sure you have a damp napkin to wipe around their mouth after and try not to let it get on clothing.Overall, this has been a lifesaver for us. I think we just ordered our 5th bottle since we've started using it. It lasts quite a while, worth the money.

Colic Calm has been working for our newborn who on occasion gets gassy, gurgling sounds in her stomach. Some evenings after a long day of breastfeeding, she develops an uncomfortable sensation in her stomach. She becomes fussy, crys a lot, anxious, upset and down right angry. Those are the signs she needs burping and relief from too much gas in her stomach. I can tell right away now, so Colic Calm alleviates and soothes her stomach. She burps almost immediately and then falls asleep from the relief. I am thankful for this Homeopathic remedy. I am.also thankful it works so quickly for our baby. Yes, it has a black tincture to it and no it doesn't bother me because it works so well. I changed the syringe to a dropped for easier dosing because the syringe was too harsh; it was like a rush of liquid in her mouth and it startled our baby. The dropper is gentlier and our baby is no longer startled nor afraid or upset in drinking it. I can not guarantee every baby will find relief, but our baby does well. I also look forward to her outgrowing and no longer needing help in relieving the gas pains as she continues to grow. I hope this review will help guide a parent with their precious baby. It's not easy caring for our babies when we don't know which medicine will or will not work for them specifically. Be wise and choose safe alternatives with little to no side affects, read all labels for ingredients.
