I have tried many tools for welding plastic and all failed the test of durability, this seems to work well so far with very little effort. The wire heats up rapidly, hold it onto the plastic to be welded and the job is done. So far I'm loving it. Don't need to push the wire into the item to be welded too far and snip off the wire tails. Cannot fault it at all, it does everything needed to repair and alter anything plastic. Loads of staples with the kit.

A excellent tool for the staples heats up in seconds also the iron once heated is easy to use to melt the plastic the snips to cut the staples weren’t much use but I would highly recommend the whole package

This kit comes with two units, one of which is good and the other very poor. Fortunately the good one is the main staple unit which works very quickly and the range of staples is very good. The ironing unit is rubbish, it worked once and then failed to heat. The screws fitted to retain the ironing part are not long enough to hold it securely. The indicator lights are supposedly different heat settings but the lower setting is not hot enough to melt the supplied plastic strips. It may be enough to melt the surface of whatever you are trying to repair but that depends on the material. The supplied snips are next to useless, failing to cut the staples. A disappointing result for the money

the hot staple gun is very easy to use and I achieved good results starting straight out on a vehicle bumper. There does need to be a reasonable thickness of plastic though otherwise the staples can go straight through - as happened at some of the more akward geometries.The melting iron is more difficult to use but does allow the surface to be smoothed off and cracks sealed.It would benefit from a smaller 9alternative) head. After use the plastic residue is easily removed with a wire brush.

A must have plastic welding kit! One of those tools always handy and coming with all necessary stuff too! Recommend !

Easy to understand. Comes with 9 packs of different shape staples depending on repair needed. Heats up instantly. Also has a welding iron and some plastic rods to melt. Good idea.

I'm somewhat satisfied with the welding iron and staple gun themselves.However the pliers broke instantly upon use and I don't think I've used a worse pair in my life.The teeth are not hardened and have gouged and the handle snapped at the centre eye joint
