I initially play with a Stiga MS Sabre, but since it is discontinued and I can no longer find another one... I decided to try several different paddles. I purchased “Pro Spin”, Stiga Pro Carbon, Stiga Pure Color, and Idoraz. After owning and playing these for a few months... I’m really liking the Idoraz. I initially disliked it because it was too fast off the paddle and I kept hitting it too deep. My Sabre is really light weight, great feel, but pretty dead off the paddle allowing me to swing pretty hard with topspin while keeping the ball in. I realized after switching through all the paddles between games that this one was starting to grow on me. It has since become my go to paddle... In fact, I purchased a second one as a back-up!!! The speed of the ball off the paddle coupled with the really grippy rubber helps for some awesome, fast play with a lot of english on the ball. The control will come after you give it some time to grow on you. I highly recommend this paddle for intermediate to advanced players.

I am not a professional player by any means, however, I do play everyday at work on breaks and lunch. I am an aggressive, attacking style player so the speed and spin ratings on this paddle piqued my interest. It has been holding up very well and fits my style perfectly. It is a bit heavier than the cheaper paddles you buy in packs of 4, but i like the weight. It feels solid when you contact the ball and I can feel the grip as I place spin on the ball. Sounds weird, but I definitely FEEL the difference. I only placed 4 stars because the glue smell still hasn't gone away and it definitely smells strong when you first open the packaging. It lessens day by day but it still smells fairly strong which isn't ideal in an office setting. It also transfers to your hand, so I wash my hands after each break just because of the glue. Also, I'm not entirely sure the 90+ rating out of 100 is accurate for this paddle. Paddles costing 3x as much as this have ratings close to 100 as well. You're not going to be able to put the same spins or speed on the ball as the expensive paddles, so 99/100 for speed and 93/100 for spin that's advertised for this paddle seems inaccurate. At a 99 score for speed and 93 for spin, I was expecting much more than I'm getting. Still, so much better than the community paddles at work that came in a 4-pack. Overall, I would still recommend this paddle to anyone at the intermediate level of play. You'll feel the difference from the cheaper 4-pack paddles immediately. It comes with a pouch to protect it and as long as you clean it regularly, the rubber will last you a long time. Plus, if/when the rubber does need to be replaced, you can remove the old rubber and replace/upgrade it. The quality of the paddle overall, the performance it does bring and the price range of this paddle makes it a great buy for anyone looking to upgrade their game from beginner.

Since receiving the paddle a few weeks ago, I've had about 4 vhours of playagainst a number of players who I consider better than I am, I found that this paddle Fer exceeded my expectations in three areas - spin, speed, and control. Compared to my old paddle, I zam able to impart spin more consistently and with less effort, and also more speed with less effort. I believe that as I get used to the response of this paddle, my game will continue to improve.

Bought this as a first investment outside of a 4-paddle set I own. I play a few times a week and am on the more advanced side for beginners. Pros: Incredible spin! I had to re-learn how I played, as I was not leveraging top-spin and back-spin enough and everything was going off the table initially. Very fast. If you hit right, this racket is freaking fast! Once again, I had to change up how I defended against my friend who also got the same racket. Overall, the racket - The build quality is solid & the rubber is good quality. Cons: - You get a coupon inside for free TT balls and it says it takes about 5-7 weeks. It's been over two months and I still haven't received them yet. General note (not really cons for me): - Both sides have the same style of rubber rather than hard (speed) & soft + thick (spin) on the other side. - The racket is a little heavy, but you get used to it. As a beginner, the few grams you save by buying a more expensive racket don't really have an impact on your game, as there are so many things you can improve in your game before the weight starts to become an issue - think intermediate level. - There is a strong glue smell at the beginning, but it goes away in a week.

I am a social player that grew up playing on my parents table with average (cheap) equipment. I just bought my own table to put in my house and wanted to see what a quality bat was like compared to the cheap stuff I’ve been using. The difference between a $5 and $20 bat is significant and then more impressively from the $20 bat to this. (I also bought the 4 pack of Idoraz bats and I think they are an excellent bat for social players.) The speed off this bat was incredible. Rubbers are tacky as hell which obviously helps with spin. I’m very impressed and glad I spent a little extra $$$ to get a quality bat. Highly recommend.
