So, the good thing about this product is that it actually uses retinaldehyde, which is more potent than retinol. The bad thing about this product is that because it is more potent, it also irritates the skin more. My skin is not usually very sensitive, but after 3 days of using it at night, I developed red patches under my eyes. Nothing that can't be covered by makeup, but enough to want to cover it with makeup. The redness lasted for at least 36 hours. I really like the texture, it is a good moisturizer, and the scent is pleasant. I just wish there was not as many "fad" ingredients in it. Overall, it seems to be effective but you have to be careful with it. I use it every day on my forehead, but only every 2-3 days under my eyes

I purchased this Matkas retinal night cream because I was looking to add a retinal cream to my nightly routine. I have purchased Matkas products in the past and have enjoyed using them. The retinal night crème is gentle on my sensitive skin and did not cause redness or irritation. I started using it every 3 nights and will go to every other night since it’s so gentle. I love that is free of fragrances, too.

Think this is a great beginner product, has almost a silicone (think pore minimizer primer) texture but does layer well between a serum and moisturizer. I likes what it did for my skin but need a little more for my aging skin but if youre looking for a beginner product, give this a try!

Regretfully, I didn't capture a 'before' image to illustrate the remarkable improvement. I initially acquired this product to address fine lines and wrinkles, and the results have been strikingly noticeable. In just a few short weeks, I've observed a significant reduction in these signs of aging. Remarkably, I've experienced no redness or skin irritation. I incorporate this cream exclusively into my nightly skincare regimen, and it's impressively mild, even on my sensitive skin. The formulation of this cream is truly impressive!

The retinol percentage is pretty low so sometimes I add a couple drops of retinol serum with this at night. It is great on my sensitive skin, absorbs great, does not leave me feeling greasy and light weight enough for night time. In terms of results of reduction of fine lines it’s too early to say. Will definitely purchase again.

I will be ordering for a 3rd time. Love this product. My skin looks amazing. I highly recommend. Tried a higher concentration that did not work for my skin. It is a nice lightweight serum. It goes on smoothly and is not sticky.

I use this as my night cream. I have oily skin but with this cream my skin feels soo hydrated and matte without being ' dry' on the skin. I have used it for 3 weeks and I am very happy about this product. Too early to say anything regarding fine lines etc - but this cream is definitely doing what it's supposed to be doing. My skin has also gotten more 'even skin tone ' since I've been using it. I don't need to use as much make up to cover up certain things 10 out of 10!

Gentle on the skin.

This product is more on the cream side than a lotion. It’s moisturizing and it doesn’t wreak of any fragrance's. I’ve included a video so you can see the texture. This is one of my faves.
