Karseell Collagen is amazing! After using it, my hair felt super soft and smooth, and the shine was very noticeable. This is my second day I blow-dried my hair after, and it turned out so bouncy and healthy-looking, not dry or frizzy at all. My hair felt light, silky, and easy to manage. I’m shocked by what this deep conditioner did to my hair! I have long, dry, coarse, multi textured hair that tangles very easily. I love how soft and manageable my hair is after using this. It detangled my hair easily in the shower and a little product goes a long way. I could tell as soon as I put it on my hair, the amount of moisture it gives. Even without straightening my hair, I can still run my fingers through my kinks and curls. It didn’t do much to define my curls, but I feel like the moisture will help with breakage and add softness. Combined with a good leave in, curls can be defined. Also, when straightened, hair will be left shiny and sleek. It didn’t leave my hair feeling weighed down, greasy or tacky. It has a nice scent too. My husband thought I had on a new perfume. My daughter likes to play with my hair and says she loves how nice my hair feels and smells. It’s not an overpowering scent, hair is left with a nice, light fragrance. I feel like this is an effective product for all hair types compared to expensive, popular brands. This is officially a new staple in my hair care routine. I recommend anyone with any hair type to give it a try.

I was awfully curious to see if this product would live up to it's hype. I have waist-length 1C hair which I color with henna and cassia. I like to use a really deep conditioner right after a henna treatment and 1-2x a month thereafter, to help prevent flyaways and the snarls that always plague my ends. This conditioner delivers on most of it's promises. It absolutely does improve the quality of my hair overall and the effect does apoear to build with repeat applications over time. My hair really does seem to be getting more soft, manageable and less tangle-prone with every use. So full marks for those claims; they do hold up! It does *not* provide that dead straight mirror-high gloss I've seen in many of the ads, so if you're expecting that high of a shine result you may be disappointed. I really dislike the Karseell's scent intensely. It reminds me of patchouli or potpourri which aren't in themselves awful; it's just *way* too strong. And the smell lasts between shampoos, though the intensity fades a bit (thankfully!). Despite the scent, it's still one of the better deep conditioners I've ever tried; I'd put it in my top 3. And though it won't be a holy grail product for me, I will definitely buy it again. One star deducted for the overwhelming scent.

Pro: This is definitely a deep conditioner. After my first use I saw a huge difference with how soft and flexible my hair was. I have curly hair and the curls were very bouncy and hydrated. I haven’t tried to straighten my hair yet after using it, but I think that will also go well. The smell is nice, and my hair feels healthier than before. A little bit goes a long way which also makes it worth the money. Con: For those who color their hair - it strips out some of my color every time I use it. It’s still worth it for the deep conditioning though.

I LOVE this product!! I am a real hair person and I usually only buy top rated salon products that cost a fortune. The hydration you get from this is better than most of those expensive products. I have naturally wavy hair which I highlight, blow dry and iron so my hair can be very dry. I use this as my conditioner/ mask and it leaves my hair soft, hydrated and silky. Anyone with dry or colour treated hair should try this!
