Q: Is this fan reversible?

Yes,this wind direction can be reversed by remote control.

Q: Light output is not great. can you recommend a different led panel that i can buy (something that has 1000/1500 lumens) to replace these dim lights.

Can't recommend brighter LEDs, but are you sure you've tried all 3 settings? One of them is super bright, like sitting in a dentist's chair. You have to press the light button twice to move up to a brighter level. The light will turn off before transitioning to the next brighter level. Good luck.
