Versatile and robust light.
Fantastic little light, very solid construction and it's taken several drops onto pavement no problem, just with some paintwork chipping away.3 light modes, 1st good for pitch black and just trying to look for the dog poo - other two much brighter, the highest setting offering super lumination - lights up whole path and way ahead when I'm on my runs.As for usability - great to pop in a pocket for the dog walk, but I also use it clipped on to the waist of my shorts when running to light up the path - much prefer this to a head torch.Really pleased with the light. Can't fault it really.

Punches above it's size.
For anyone new to these kinds of high performance torches/flashlights. Just be aware of what the specs actually mean. The 1800 lumen rating of the WUBEN E7, is it's 'turbo' mode. That mode puts almost a dead short across the battery, and the E7 becomes a light canon for about 60 seconds. After that, the LEDs will heat up, and the E7 begins to throttle the output down to 800 lumens for about another minute, then switches to the 'high' setting of 400 lumens, and can remain at that output for an hour and a half. But 400 lumens is still an impressive output for such a small torch. If you are crossing a pitch-dark carpark, or reach an area of pavement not illuminated by any streetlight, you can double-click the E7, and turn night into day. Or you can take the dog for a walk using the constant 400 lumen setting, and switch up to the super-bright, short-duration setting if you lose the dogs ball. The E7 is a really versatile device. It has (extra cost) accessories, to convert it to a head torch, or extend the battery compartment, to allow it to use 18650 batteries, for the same outputs but longer runtimes. It's built like a tank, and gives a nice wide flood beam, with a wide hotspot. The LED emitters are not some flaky Chinese knock-off, they are proper Osram P9s. In fact the only thing you really need to decide, is what colour temperature to buy. Again, for the newbies, the 6500Kelvin version gives off a bright white light with a blueish tint. The 5000Kelvin version gives off a light with an amber tint, which is much better at showing colours as they actually are. It is also nice to have the strobe and SOS features. Especially as Wuben have placed them in a side menu, so you do not have the frustration of having to cycle through them in normal day-to-day use. Recommended, especially during the UK Winter, when it is dark by 4:30PM.

A Great Small Rechargeable Torch, Strong And Bright
I'd been needing a small torch for pocket carry for a while, and when my wife washed, spun and tumble-dried one of my Wuben C3s leading to its demise it was a perfect time to try something new. The E7 is small, very well built, easily charged using a USB-C charger, has a wide number of modes, and is overall good value - especially when it's on offer. Like the C3s the E7 is quite water resistant - but there are obvious limits! :)

good overall, but problems with the charging port
bought one of these things plus the battery extension.pros:its small and fits nicely in the hand, straddles the line between functionality and looking cool quite nicely. battery life is fine as long as you have the extension tube, magnet on the bottom is strong enough to stick and stay put but not so strong you have to wrestle the thing to get it off, decently sturdy pocket clip. the fact that you can unscrew both the panels holding the LEDs, top switch and charging port is appreciated. also its nice that there are actual controls for the settings instead of having to scroll through each of them. machining work seems overall decent for the price.now, the cons:the position of the charging port feels poorly thought-out, too. if it were on the bottom or the side, i’d think itd be less awkward to use overall, not to mention the rubber seal. taking it off and re-sealing it is thoroughly unsatisfying. if it were behind a sliding or folding panel of some sort, that’d make things better.however, theres an even bigger problem.where i live (scotland), it gets quite wet, so i’d taken this torch outside with me many times as it was supposedly waterproof. but one time when i tried to plug it in, the port started to smoke, reek of burnt plastic and the flashlight wouldnt take charge anymore.i’m not completely sure, but i think some moisture in the air must have leaked into the charging port, and because the tongue of the charging port is made of some sort of low-grade plastic, plugging it in completely fried it.the top panel is removable, so at the very least replacement could be an option, but theres definitely room for improvement here.i ended up buying the other 6500k light model, designating charging batteries for both lights to that and making sure to keep it in my pocket as a backup.in conclusion:overall decent. looks cool, decently durable and comfortable to hold, simple to operate. charging port and its rubber seal are flimsy and awkward but at the very least (seemingly) replacable.

Compact and bright
Great little torch for small work. I use it for work as an engineer in confined spaces. The 1800 lumens is kind of subjective, it’s bright and has a good wide beam and lights up a decent space, but don’t expect a massive throw from it. The 4 quick press lockout is a great feature, as it prevents you turning it on by accident. I have a few Wuben torches and they are all reliable, well priced and have good functionality.

Great product
I’m really impressed with how quickly and effectively the team responds whenever there’s an issue. The torch itself is excellent, with great performance. I already own a few other models from the same manufacturer, and I can honestly recommend them all !
