These work so well around my autistic environment classroom.

Oh my goodness yes! If you're in the classroom or if you just want to leave directions for your children at home these all must have. You can leave a quick message or directions for them to follow. Hashtag even your husband. If you have forgetful for ones in your home leave them a quick message All they have to do is press and they will hear your voice and they'll be reminded of what you want them to do or what you need from the store.

These play very loudly. An easy fix is to just record whatever at a softer volume, or with button further away from the source of the sound. I use these for center work in my Kindergarten classroom. To record I just speak at a regular talking volume with the button held a bit away from my mouth and then the playback volume is fine. Easy fix… but volume was definitely startling until I played around with recording techniques.Perfect for kinders who need to hear directions over and over while I’m busy with a small group!

Only six of the eight buttons worked. Regardless of how I tried to record, even with a homemade condenser to muffle the white noise in an otherwise silent room, all the recordings came back with static. They aren't very loud, but they'll get the job done.I am disappointed that two do not work - one of the buttons does not fully compress and its recording button won't work at all, and the other one just doesn't make noise regardless of the batteries which work in other buzzers just fine.Tomorrow will be the true test when I bring them into the classroom for some Jeopardy! reviews, so I might be back to see if they're loud enough to hear across the room.EDIT: I could hear the buttons across the room. Students loved smashing them aggressively to be the first one to buzz in and the six originally functioning ones all still work, so that's cool.
