I purchased this to hold laptops that were in the process of being set up for new employees.I needed something that would hold 11" deep x 17" wide laptops and the dimensions listed for this item matched. The height matches the exact height of my office desk (with the flat feet installed), and is about 1" taller than my desk with the rollers.Unfortunately, the 11x17 dimensions only account for the large bottom section. The five shelves are indeed 17" wide, but the front-to-back depth is only 8.5".I was able to use this organizer anyway, with a small overlap on some larger laptops. The shelves are inclined, which is perfect for holding laptops. They are meshed, which really helps with airflow.Quality is decent. Metal frame is sturdy and the two wood shelves are made from actual polished and stained cuts of wood. The metal shelves and back plates are a bit thin, but so far have been up to the task of holding laptops.Assembly was a snap. Tools and instructions were included, but you'll need one Phillips screwdriver for the back plates. Oddly, my unit came with wood self-tapping screws for the back plates instead of the expected metal screws since both the plates and frame are metal. The wood screws "worked" but were a little clumsy to install.The rollers are kinda cheap and do not like thick carpets. Two of the rollers have stoppers, but they barely work.Overall the item looks great, like an actual piece of office furniture you'd find in an executive suite, not just some generic paper holder you'd find sitting on a shelf in the Post Office. This thing totally eliminated the rat's nest of laptops from before and now the room looks a lot cleaner and upscale.I would have loved if the item were maybe an inch wider, and two inches deeper, but this was made to hold paper, not laptops.

I love this thing !!! It makes a huge difference in keeping papers organized while working my paper crafting . Supplies are easy to access. No more Digging or Lifting stacks ‼️x🤙🏽 Stores next to my desk for projects paper filing . It is easy to roll wherever I need it. Looks sleek, and very black.Use caution/slow motion when moving fully loaded cart .Directions and assembly was easy even though there are several pieces.I plan to get a couple more !Great value

Excellent quality overall! This rolling file cart is well-designed and looks remarkably nice, either free-standing or against a wall. It is compact and space-efficient but still able to hold many papers, folders, binders, or other items. Assembly was enjoyable. One hole was missing on one of the three back panels, but it still works well and looks fine without that corner screwed down.

Easy to put together (20 minutes by myself). Two of the holes on the back somehow don’t fit the screws tightly, hence take away one star. But the whole thing still holds pretty sturdy. My high schooler always has papers, books and random stuff strewn all over the floor around her desk, which is driving me crazy. This cart really makes the space cleaner instantly, it holds a lot of stuff. I specifically picked this because it has slanted shelves, they hold things safer, therefore more inviting (she needs to want to use it for it to work!). Recommend.

Easy to put together and perfect for helping organize daily work in the classroom.

It took me about 40 minutes after I figured out that the secret was the included Allen wrench.Purchased 4 months ago but only just assembled. I delayed assembly because when it arrived I could hear the pieces knocking around in the box and I just didn’t want to. I didn’t even open the box.4 months later:I figured I would look in the box before giving it away. If you purchase this it will not take you long to assemble so, no need to donate.(A) Follow the order given in the assembly instructions which include large pictures and easy to read instructions.(B) Installation Steps:Step 1 - I used a small screwdriver. Maybe the included Allen wrench would have worked. I also used a rubber mallet to get the holes aligned better for A&B + C&D . Someone stronger and more experienced may not need the mallet.Step 2 - Use the Allen wrench aka Allen key to attach wood selves to the metal sides. You do not need power tools for this.Step 3. Use the included Allen wrenchDon’t miss items G & HStep 4 - Lay what you assembled on a flat surface with the back up.Use the Allen wrench to attach the back panels. Just don’t tighten too much until all the screws are in. It took a bit of wiggling but in the end you get a nice secure fit so do not be frustrated.😩Step 4Wheels are “O”. Studs are “P”Decide on wheels or studs. I think most of us would choose wheels for the floor and studs if it’s going to sit on a desk/table.Follow remaining assembly steps and enjoy 😉.I think I will purchase another one.You are welcome.🤗

Perfect for a little teacher cart. Easy to put together (10min) and is sturdy enough to hold all my supplies. I love this so much!

This has got to be probably the most useful, rolling cart I've purchased. I love this cart, it suits my need perfectly! I love the slanted shelves and the backing prevents anything from sliding off. I have this cart in my dining room, right close to my chair at the table where everything can be handy. Each morning I check my bank account and I like to read scripture, and study the Bible. I can have absolutely everything I need right there to do both. I keep several versions of the Bible handy, my password notebook, pens, pencils, scissors,etc. all right there to use. I love the flat top, so useful for a plant or anything you desire to put there. So happy with this purchase.
