Great little house for a start cat shelter
Great price for what you get. I bought this during the cold winter time here in Illinois and its purpose was for a little stray cat to have a nice little warm space to go sleep in and get away from the cold. It was easy enough to set up and i filled it up with straw for added warmth. So far the cat has used it when it’s cold so it makes me happy to know the cat has used it! I thought of making one myself but for the price this one comes painted and looks super cute! Like a mini decorative house you even tell what it is.

Not really worth it
The price is low enough so that’s good but the quality is very poor. You can’t tell from the pics but the overall quality is VERY low, some of the staples have popped out, holes are not lined up correctly, uneven wood cuts, and there is no way on earth this would last much more than 1 year outside because the “paint” on this house is more like colored primer. If you insist on buying this item, do yourself a favor and either paint it with an exterior paint or coat it with some type of exterior sealant. If not, you’ll probably be throwing it away in a year or two. EDIT: issue resolved with the seller, changed from 2 to 5 stars

Happy kitties! Warm & dry
I can't give it a 5 star, because the wood is flimsy. Buy for indoor use, I am pretty happy with it. Hubby put it together fairly quick with no issues. My ,2 older kittens will be warm as ai added a pet bed and soft blanket. Actually there is enough room for my full grown car to snuggle in, even though she has her own small house.. overall,it's worth it for price, only use inside!

cats love it
easy to assemble ,can fit up to 3 full grown cats and easy to clean and can take the weight of 2 cats on roof maybe more ,its kinda expensive but its worth it for keeping the cats outside warm and dry ,the onley thing is that the cats that i have didnt want to go in till i took of the clear plastic door like thing ,and you dont want to screw in the divider if you want to take it in and out for room of 3 cats

Developed Mold (Received Refund)
** UPDATE: After providing photographs of the damage, the seller refunded the full purchase amount. As a result I am changing the rating from 1 to 3 stars, due to the exceptional customer service. NOTE: This house is being used outdoors, exposed to the weather on my back deck. Had no issues at first. However, after a month or two, started to notice it developed some mold on the inside. It had been a hot/humid summer so I addressed the small amounts of mold and hoped it wouldn't turn into a bigger problem. Recently had several days in a row of rainy weather. Once again I detected mold inside. This time I decided to disassemble the house and give a thorough cleaning. Much to my dismay I found significant mold under the plastic on the roof and awning. Also the wood was water soaked. It is water sealed, only stained. Worst of all when I turned it over the underside of the floor has the most mold (see photo). I washed all moldy areas with beach to try and salvage the house. Also, I had to make a new awning as it is water damaged and mold penetrated the layers of the plywood, so it cannot be salvaged. The plywood under the plastic roof is untreated and susceptible to water damage and a number of the screws rusted. I would like to hear from the seller about either replacing it or providing a refund. This house is not suitable for outdoor use, unless perhaps it is under addition cover and not exposed to rain/snow. Had I known, I would have purchased a waterproof stain/paint and coated all the parts before I assembled it.

Love it!
I love it because it’s big enough for my two outside cats, one of them is a big boy and the top opens for easy clean up. I like that it’s elevated to keep rain out. The assembly took a minute the screw placement at the base was awkward because the cross bars got in the way so you need a screwdriver with a short handle but other than that, we assembled it pretty quick
